My cruise planner has had the same sale for the last several days.  It says UP TO 35% for Cruise Favorites.  It is for the same dollar amount when I first signed up for the cruise.

Is this a cruise excursion or will you be doing this on your own?

I read that Speciality Dining is smart casual.  My hubby and son are casual dressers.  What is the typical attire seen at Specialty Restaurants?

I gave Steve a call at TripInsuranceStore.com.  He was very helpful and was able to answer all my answers.  I am awaiting his quote via email.  The price was very reasonable and it has great medical coverage.

This is great advice.  I have 14 days from from when I book to have the pre existing conditions covered.  I am most concerned with a medical emergency while outside of the US.  I had a friend that this happened to and the prices were astronomical.  

Because I am in NY, there was no option given on Royal Caribbean's website for option travel insurance. I plan on using Allianz.  I am trying to determine the amount to insure. Airfare & Hotel will be with points - so need to insure cost.

For the cruise do I only insure the fare cost?  Am I correct that if I had to cancel they would refund my prepaid gratuities, shore excursions, unlimited dining, and unlimited drink package.  The only price to me would be the cost of the cruise fare? 

Any thoughts or tips are greatly appreciate.

I just purchased the the UDP on Symphony.  It includes:

• Unlimited visits to specialty dining restaurants every night of your sailing and lunch on sea days.
• For restaurants with a la carte pricing, you’ll receive a $20 food credit.
• For ships with these venues, Teppanyaki/Izumi Hibachi is included, with a $10 surcharge, Chef's Table is included, with a $49.99 surcharge, and Dadong is included, with a $35 surcharge. These will be charged once onboard.

Regarding the a la carte restaurants:

1. The $20 credit is per a person?
2. The $20 credit is per a dining?
3. Can you eat at the same a la carte restaurant for lunch and dinner and receive $20 credit for both lunch and dinner?
