We have the ZipRider booked from 8:30am - 10am and then the Bear Search tour at 10:30am in Icy Strait Point.  Can anyone who has been there or gone on these excursions let me know if 30 minutes is enough time to get from one to the other?  I'm not sure of the distance between the ZipRider and where we would catch the other excursion.  I could reverse the excursions and put more time in between.

S704 was fine.  Occasionally there would be noisy people waiting for the elevator.  Only two of the elevators go to this deck so there is lots of waiting.

 

S702 had problems.  There is a storage room across the hall -- not shown on the deck plans -- that is used by the Horizon Court -- one deck down.  Late at night the crew would be in and out always banging the door behind.  I should say BANGING!  Also, crew members liked to hide in this hallway to check their mobile phones.  It was weird to walk out of the cabin and find someone loitering.  In S702 we also had problems with the door lock, air conditioning and the refrigerator.

 

The Golden Princess is leaving the Princess fleet in September 2020.  After that these cabins will be on the P and O Pacific Adventure.

I realize this is an old thread but if anyone has stayed in either of these rooms, what did you feel are the cons?  Was there much noise with people going in and out the doors to the shuffleboard deck, etc.?

We are looking to book a room above the casino on the Golden Princess and wondering if there was much noise or smell from smoke.  Has anyone had any experience they can share?  Thank you!

I am interested in a particular excursion with Princess and the time slot we want is sold out. We booked the last two slots for the same excursion just later but I was wondering if anyone has ever seen Princess add additional tours when existing ones are sold out. We would really prefer the earlier time. I do realize I could go with a private tour company as well. Thanks for the feedback!

For those who have been to both, can you tell me if you would choose to go to Pioneer Park for a few hours and have dinner at the salmon bake or take the Princess Highlight Tour of the Museums and why? I do realize it is based on personal taste but I would like to get opinions on both. Thanks in advance for the feedback!

Has anybody done the 6 hour Denali Wilderness Hike through Princess while at the Mt. McKinley Lodge? If so, can you provide feedback such as how difficult it was, what you thought of the experience, etc.? Also though it says it is 6 hours when you go to actually book it, it shows as 4 1/2. Does anyone know which is accurate. TIA!

I've seen pictures of this island but I'm not able to ascertain if everything is within walking distance such as the various bars along the beach, treasure shops, bbq pavilion, etc. Can anyone say if we are able to walk to all these ares or if we would need a taxi to get around? Is there anything to do (besides laying on the beach) close to where the ship tenders the guests in? Thank you for the feedback!
