    Thanks everyone for y’all’s thoughts!!
& with flights, hotel, excursion Celebrity will be more expensive but that’s if we go with most basic Regrnt suite. I’ll look at penthouse prices and see how it works out.
I’m thinking regent is a better value.
But we’re both concerned that regent won’t have much to do in daily activities.

i really wish we could do a shorter cruise to try it first because we wanted a  month long honeymoon.
I’m honestly considering pushing our month long trip back till we can try a few lines so when we take the big trip we’ll know what cruise line to take. We’re not interested in land. Vacation right now. Also I’ve attempted to get a travel agent but they’re so hard to find!
bottom line, I’m. So unsure & overthink things.
we don’t mind an older clientele & we’re not big drinkers or party types. Frankly, we would like a lot of activities we can observe.
i need to keep researching clearly...

side note.. thanks for the well wishes. We were married the March 2020 then COVID hit & hubby got deployed.

Curious what your objections to the Sky Suites between the Magic Carpet are.     From what I read, the MC only moves a couple times a day, and at times you are unlikely to bein your room.   I understand the orange pillars are there for the two suites on the outer edge, but the balconies are a bit larger, aren't they?

Also, if anyone knows how many suites a butler services, that would be good info.    We travel with a group of 8, and we will have 4 suites next to each other.   Since our schedules are usually all in sync, we'd love to have the same butler service all 4 cabins.   That could make for some fun times.

Always curious of both positive and negative views.

Here's a video on YouTube of one of the Sky Suites on the edge of the Magic Carpet-

It looks like the orange pillar does provide a bit of obstruction, but the balcony is very large and has a window on the left-hand side as well. We went on a similar cruise and you are correct, the Magic Carpet didn't seem to move that often, and when it did, we weren't in our room.

It was our first cruise with Celebrity, and we were kind of bummed that the Magic Carpet doesn't move while you are on it! That would have been much more appealing to us. YMMV.

Celebrity "Today" is your daily activities planner delivered to your cabin each evening for the next day.

If you're looking for some real-life daily planners to see what type of activities might be on your ship, there's this YouTube video of some from the Celebrity Apex-

  4. We bought some when we got to the airport in Athens. The exchange rate probably wasn't the best, but it was very convenient for us. That being said, most places accept credit cards, so the need for cash is very minimal. We used ours for paying tour guides/drivers in Athens, but all of the shops and restaurants took cards.
