What were the complaints about? I like eating breakfast in the dining compared to Buffet
I just wrote this out, but idk what happened to my comment. But food was unflavored or uncooked. One lady told us she ordered egg whites, and they brought her liquid egg white completely undone. Bacon was rubber. And another person sitting near us sent their food back and asked for a Danish instead. All other meals have been amazing, but breakfast was a disappointment.

I understand (from my niece who was recently diagnosed) that food contamination is also an issue for celiacs. It’s not only about eating gluten free food but also about how the food is prepared. How does Princess handle this? Do they have a dedicated area to prepare the food?
I cannot speak to this because I do not have Celiac. Supposedly food is carefully handled and prepared, but I am gluten sensitive and not allergic, so it is not life or death for me. I let them know this day one and via the app. Definitely be sure to upgrade all allergies on app and with head waiter.

Probably the diff between DR breakfast and buffet breakfast. The times I have had breakfast in DR, food seems more attractive I would say.
We haven't eaten buffet yet, but yesterday's breakfast was very rough in the MDR. I heard lots of complaints from others, as well.

Gluten free folks, while the GF selection is very good, I was told to add dietary restrictions to app before sailing. I did, and I called and asked them to do it, also. They said I would not be offered Gluten options. This has not been true. I have had to remind all servers. It seems like it is not popping up on my account by default.

@pkt1976are people masking up on your sailing? As you know we had very, very few people wearing masks until Saturday our last day.
Yes - many people in masks

We woke up to two random $100 charges on our card from the ship. So we will have to see guest services. These charges are not on our account in the app, so travelers, check your cards. And as a side note, the app allows me to order specialty coffee on the app with beverage package - but not tea, which is very strange.

For Gluten Free travelers, I did have to remind the waiter at dinner tonight that I was GF. But at some point in the meal, they brought me the next day's lunch and dinner menu so that they can prepare the items GF. Not all items are eligible, but many are. Very impressed!

Do they have any sugar free or no sugar added options for the coffee and pastries? Thanks.
They had one option I saw, but I don't remember what it is.

The ship is huge. If anyone is interested, walking from end to end and going up every deck at 3 - 3.5 mph takes about an hour and 24 minutes. Haha - yes, we did that. Working off lunch!

Gluten free definitely looks like gluten free, but I am so glad that it exists!! We don't cruise til June next year for an Alaska land cruise tour (I'm giving up on my South America cruise--even though it hasn't been cancelled YET.) If you have other GF dishes I'd love to see them. Thanks!!

I can tell you that was the best Gluten Free crust I have ever had. Very fluffy!

@TheCenterOfTheLabyrinth Did you go straight there or to your cabin first?
Straight to lunch haha. We hadn't had breakfast, so were ready to eat. Also note that Alfredos does not offer any GF beer.

Was this group A at 11 am?
We were in group A and got in before some Elites. It was very disorganized.

I ywreeting the girl told me stay put with group A. Since there was no lounge setup. I just made my way by the boarding door with assumption we get priority boarding before even group A🤷♀️
Boarding was a cattle call. No elite or priority groups respected.

First observation was there is no priority line for elite and platinum guess you kind of have to go in the shuffle with everyone else but the check and process is well under a minute if you have your medallion. Aa I'm sitting here waiting to board with group A, and I have to inquire if there was a elite Platinum lounge for priority boarding and I had a girl who was very kind to go check there is a sign but there's absolutely nothing there. I told her it's okay I just wanted to triple check and I did mention that some passengers last week spoke to the president Jan said that there should be a longue. It is what it is a happy camper and I can't wait to board.
we made our way to Group A, as well!
