  1. Great question. Don't you hate when someone says that because they really don't know the answer. LOL

When staying in the suites, I have never booked a show reservation on the app. I always reply to the concierge e-mail with my wish list (dining, shows etc.) and I have always been able to see the show I want on the night I wanted. Maybe I've been lucky.

I did see on my next cruise on Harmony in two weeks that the shows are sold out. Hopefully, there will be some reserved seats left for the wife and I. Tree_skier probably has the right idea, and it certainly can't hurt to book on the app.

  2. It does depend on your Crown and Anchor status as far as the "Chef's Choice" in your stateroom on embarkation day. Wife and I are Diamond and have had cookies, fruit plate and even strawberries once, however, the best way to ensure you get the strawberries is to order them.

I second the comment from bonsai3s regarding lunch at the Coastal Kitchen.

  3. As many of stated it really depends on your individual situation.

My wife is a very light drinker. We are both Diamond Crown and Anchor members, so we get 4 drinks each per day. We also typically book a suite on an Oasis class ship and take advantage, at least I do, of the complimentary drinks in the Coastal Lounge. So, for us, it doesn't seem worth it.

  4. I was booked on Allure sailing 5/28. I tested negative on 5/26 and was just counting down the hours when on Friday the 27th I woke up with a couugh and sore throat. By the end of the day, chills and fever joined the party.

Certainly, it can't be Covid as I just tested negative. Well, my follow up test was positive in about 5 minutes.

I spent 3 days in bed and still feel lousy and, as disappointed as I was for not being on a cruise, I can't imagine feeling that bad in a Covid Cabin aboard the ship. I guess that's the silver lining for me.

My agent called RCCL for me and got a full refund. I'm re-booked on Symphony in September.

    Hey CC fam,

I’m getting ready to board Allure and decided while sailing with some loved ones I’ll answer your questions about anything on your minds right now. Many things people are curious about. There’s the usual like compasses, and ship decor, shows, food, etc. However with the pandemic going on people are also wondering about Covid, capacity, and protocols.

I’m here to over feedback on all of it. This will be a family first cruise so my frequency will be limited to a few times a day, but I’m sure to share and answer everything under the sun as I enjoy the Caribbean.

    Good Morning:

Sailing on Allure for the second time end of May. Do you know if Chef's Table is being offered? I did not know if it had been cancelled due to social distancing.

  6. Just received my concierge letter for my upcomung cruise on Symphony of the Seas this Saturday October 9th.

It does state that Sky Suite guests have Flexible Arrival allowing for a one hour window either before or after your assigned arrival time. Has anyone exercised this option at Miami's Terminal A since the re-start?

Is there a seperate entrance or line for Suite guests?

    Any input appreciated.

I recently checked in for a suite and didn’t see anything different than checking in on my balcony cruise. The only advantage I’ve heard of for a suite (and P’s) is that they allow an hour on either side of your assigned time to check in for boarding.

I had the same experience checking in for a suite on Symphony of the Seas October 9th sailing. I have seen on the blog several posts regaring the 1 hour flexibility for check in times for suite guests. Has anyone seen that published anywhere?
