I saw this part in the making an icon part 2, but didnt see it posted anywhere just yet. Anyone have an idea what this will be for? Because of the camera 'sliding' through it during the video, I thought it might be a rollercoaster, but I didnt see that mentioned anywhere 🙂 

Or is it just a fancy light equipment rail for in a theater? 😄

Went to the aqua show InTENse last night.   Needless to say that was very LOUD too…. It was very dark in colour - I preferred Hiro with the glittery red shoes! 

Nice to see that they are doing the full show now, only saw the repetition of the full show on the last sea day (sunday). Last week they only did small parts of it, with the cruise director talking in between. Was the act with the ukrainian juggler also removed from the show?

Now I am even more excited to go on board may 15th for our trip 🙂 And I might do a transatlantic some day, it sounds really cool to just be on the boat for 14 days and having all the extra activities like the Wonderful Race.

But ofcourse storing the bumper cars behind the scenes might give a bit of a logistical problem 🙂

Just a bit worried about the single flowrider, how busy was the flowrider? The cruise compass had only a few hours a day with advanced surfing, so I am just hoping that it wasn't that busy, so we can continue practising on the flowrider 😄

Sounds like a good trip, already missing Harmony. Fun to read that Castor is still in the Royal Promenade Cafe, he was already there in September when I was on board, any chance that Patrick is also still there (Royal Promenade Cafe)? Or Gus Dwi in the vitality cafe? 🙂

We are from the Netherlands, this offer does not have a banner on the Dutch RC website. Can we just call the German customer care and get this offer applied (no dutch customer care available, so always have to call US/UK or Germany..) 

Or are we out of luck and have to wait for another offer that is aimed at the Dutch market?

Will Wonder of the Seas support all options of the app? Mainly interested in the digital doorkey and room control 🙂 

It still feels strange that all categories only have guarantee cabins available. Hopefully it's only temporarily so we can still book later this weekend 🙂

I had it booked for last year, but got cancelled due to Corona. At a later trip in October 2021, the tour was still not back, but I did see a Theater tour for Diamond+ members. So hopefully it will be back asap, really looking forward to a behind the scene tour

I am trying to make a reservation on Wonder of the Seas for a summer 2022 cruise in Europe (from Barcelona or Rome), but the only room options seems to be a guarantee cabin, for all dates starting from may till the end of october. 

Is this a bug in the booking system, or is this a RC strategy to limit the capacity? It seems strange to me that all cruises are already almost fully booked for the entire season?

Also, it seems like that the Cruise with Confidence is not valid for the guarantee cabins, or did I misread this? 

I will board again in Rome this week. Anyone already on the ship that can report on the number of guests? 🙂 Last time we went, it was 1100 guests, but that was probably a once in a lifetime experience 😮 

Did anyone get a WOWband on Harmony of the Seas? We asked for it last trip, but they didnt know what a WOWband was, after asking around they told that they dont have them on Harmony. But on the royal website Harmony is added as a compatibel ship. 

After a night it was linked. But now the next obstacle, I can check-in until the Cruise Contract. But now I get the warning that I must be 18 years or older to sign the contract (and yes my birthday is correctly assigned to my accout). Without it I cant sign the form, and I thus cant complete the check-in process. Gotta lova the royal carribean IT department 😛 

I am having a lot of troubles with my account recently. Tried to book a cruise, but failed multiple times. So I decided to book with a third party, I got a reservation number and linked it to my account succesfully. It does show the cruise in the app, but the app is useless when boarding Harmony in Rome (only works for Barcelona reservations). 

The website is still showing 'you have 0 upcoming cruises', tried to relink but it only shows 'already linked'.

Anyone else having troubles with upcoming cruises? Does someone have a direct link to the cruise planner, maybe that does work?

Yes, we went off in both Palma and Barcelona. Just go to the gangway and walk off the ship, just make sure you are back at the ship on-time. And make sure you catch the last shuttle-bus if you dont want to walk (30-60 minute walk from cruise terminal), the bus did the last transfer around 1.5/2 hours before all-aboard time. 

What is the current occupancy on Harmony? I read somewhere that it's +/- 2000 guests currently?

Almost everyone just had the blue paper ones, you also get one 'royal-caribbean branded paper mask' in your stateroom. 

Crew is wearing a mask with an added filter in it, and has to wear it everywhere, even the sports crew standing in the flowrider 😮

Did you do any of the excursions?

Nope, no excursions. Wasnt worth the price for me, we did Rome after the cruise. Napels/La Spezia are cheaper for us to just fly to from Netherlands and stay a few days than doing a single day excursion. And especially with all restrictions now, it didnt seems to be worth the price. Instead we bought the dining package and did a lot of flowriding 😄 

Any ideas about the upcoming few iternaties and the expected occupancy? 

As for Europa the fall-holiday season for schools will soon start, I might expect a higher occupancy? 

Personally I expect the 3 and 10 october sailings to be at the current occupancy levels, but the 17 and 24 sailings might be a bit fuller. Anyone got some inside knowledge? 🙂

I am also especially interested in excursions. If you should hear anything specific about the Amalfi/Pompeii excursion in Naples (have that one booked but would cancel it if reviews are unfavorable) or in La Spezia (nothing booked there as nothing seems worth the price but you never know) I would appreciate it.

 

Also, I was wondering how difficult it is to make dining/show reservations. I will board in Rome so can't use the app and will be off timewise (i.e. when I board guests who got on in Barcelona already had four days to make reservations for the first two or three days of my cruise). I am also a little concerned because on the app it looks like everything is set up for guests getting on in Barcelona (e.g. tour of spa, Bingo with suite as price etc.). Any information on that would be appreciated.

We boarded sept 16 from Rome. Indeed everything is scheduled around Barcelona departure, but that didnt bother us too much. 

Reservations are easy, just walk to the royal promenade on boarding day and you can book all shows at once. If you want to book another day, call the phone number or walk to the venue/customer service. 

For the (speciality) restaurants, we went 4 nights, all nights at most 50% of the tables are filled. So we just went to the restaurant a few hours before we wanted to dine, and reserved for that evening. 

With 1100 guests, almost nothing is fully reserved 🙂
