How to keep "port" and "starboard" straight...

"Port" has four letters, just like "left". Easy.

(remember: they refer to left and right relative to the front - or forward motion - of the ship)

I, too, saw this on the Radiance deck plans and wondered what it was all about. I assumed it was just an ordinary sauna or something. This sounds much better.

Although it's probably not as awesome as the mega-sized whirlpool I enjoyed on Celebrity's Mercury. I think they called it something like the "thallosotherapy pool". I remember it was warm salt water with a huge variety of jets and and bubblers and even a giant faucet (like 12" in diameter) that poured a solid column of water onto your back or shoulders. The faucet would turn on and off at programmed intervals. I watched a guy on the other side, floating on his back with his eyes closed. I probably should have warned him that he was drifting under the about-to-activate faucet. At least he had plenty of time to recover and relax after that gusher nailed him straight in the chest.

Sorry if these have already been mentioned, or were mentioned 2+ years ago... :p

I am absolutely entranced by the GPS track of the ship. My wife laughs at me when she finds me up close to the TV, wishing it would zoom in. My cell phone has GPS and Google Maps - this might be the only valid reason to turn the thing on during the trip.

I also love coming back from dinner and/or the show and reading the next day's schedule and the newsletter. Even if we don't do much but sit around and relax, I love studying that schedule hoping to find an offbeat activity.

Somebody who doesn't go all ga-ga over lobster night? Oh wait, that's me. :D

I'm disappointed the days of skeet shooting from the stern are gone. Alcohol, choppy seas, and shotguns sounds like a good time to me.
