Sorry, I can't help much. I find Emerald & their parent company Scenic's websites so bad I rarely look at them. We sail with Avalon, so I can't really help you much more than what you can find online.

I totally agree about Emerald's website it's hard to use. Thanks anyway.

I'm out today, but if you post what cruise you are on, and your date, I can try if I get home tomorrow. Sorry, spending a lot of time away from home so it may be Saturday before I can help.

This is the basic info for the CDN site, it also has a brochure you can d/l.

Thanks for the link. I was able to get a lot of information out of it that I was looking for. but I'm still wanting to know about the Salzburg Excursion. So if you have any other links you can send me that I can look through, that would be greatly appreciated. My cruise is on the Emerald Dawn, October 5th through 19th 2025. Thanks again for your help.

Go to the Emerald website and at the top on the left you'll see River. Click on it and you'll see River Experience and under that is DiscoveMore Excursions.

I followed your directions but I still couldn't find the area with DiscoveMore Excursions. Could you possibly post a link to that page for me? Thanks.

Those are the Discover More excursions, they are on most cruises however not on all. Have been on 6 Emerald cruises and if there were any Discover More excursions on your cruise, they should show up on your booking info that you've received. You don't need to book these before hand as there's a info session on these excursions...if there are any on your cruise...during the cruise and you can book them then.

So there's no place on the Emerald Cruise website where these Discovery More excursions are listed that I can view? if so, how do I find that area?

  5. My husband and I are going on a Rhine River Cruise with Emerald Cruise Line in April 2025. We understand that excursions are included with our cruise, however there are some options that we can pay for for additional excursions at certain ports. I have been on the Emerald Cruise Line website and cannot find in my booking where I can see excursions listed that I could possibly book. Could anyone please explain to me where the Excursion area is located so that I might be able to review the excursions and book some before the cruise online.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  6. Got an email yesterday from Princess stating that they were changing their itinerary on this World Cruise. Looks like they're going to have the cruise go down around Africa and avoid the Middle East and Asia all together. With this in mind, Don and I have decided to cancel this cruise, but we hope all of you who decide to continue with it have a wonderful trip. Hopefully, in the near future when things get more settled in the world, we will be able to do a World Cruise for sure.

  7. Hi everyone,

The husband and I just booked a World Cruise for 101 days 2025 leaving Fort Lauderdale arriving back in the States at Los Angeles California. We booked our cruise on the Island Princess. We have sailed with Princess many times & are Elite status, so we're really looking forward to this cruise.

I was wondering for those of you that have done world cruises… usually how many formal nights do they have? The husband and I like to dress nicely so we want to make sure we have the proper clothes.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  8. We will be going on the April 2025 South Pacific Cruise also as many others here have stated. Thanks so much for all the information about the Sapphire. We sailed on her many many years ago and wondered how she's holding up now. I hope you continue to post more about your cruise on the Sapphire.

I am curious regarding which ship the OP will be cruising.  We were B2B2B2B on the Eclipse this spring and there were glasses of the bubbly on a tray on the counter of Cafe al Bacio.  Folks were free to take one.  It was the equivalent of the boarding bubbly.

I stated in my signature I'm going on Celebrity Reflection.

By way of contrast, John Heald just posted last night’s menu from the Carnival Luminosa MDR. Compare this to any of the X menus posted on this thread and it will become immediately apparent why so many here are unhappy with the present state of Celebrity’s  MDRs.IMG_0683.thumb.jpeg.5c8507ba155c6daf7c43540b0f5891c3.jpeg

CCL menu look a lot better than Celebrity's!

  12. Does anyone have the new MDR menus that came out in August of 2023? If so can you post them or post a link to them? I did a search and couldn't find any new menus. Thanks in advance.
