    Thank you for your reply. My next MSC cruise is in January and I am unable to provide any of my information as I'm locked-out until 20 days prior to sailing, which in the past never occurred before. I'm just interested in which cabin I have been assigned as I booked a guarantee cabin. Thanks again.

    In my humble opinion, I call the original posters statement as pure BS. I have sailed twice on the Venezia and the ship is lovely. The staff was helpful, the ship is clean and very well maintained, the shows were nice and the food was adequate. Additionally, the value factor versus cost is excellent and no one within my party had any negative views of the Venezia. If given the opportunity and time, I would cruise once again the Venezia without hesitation.

Currently have three MSC cruises booked but I am unable to manage my booking via the MSC site. When prompted to enter my booking number and name, I receive an error message for all three bookings indicating as my cruise does not depart within 20 days, I am unable to access my web check-in process. Has anyone also received this same error message as the MSC customer service has no idea. THANKS

    I CANNOT speak for anyone else, but both NCL & RCCL have given me "freebie's" beyond those listed on their rewards website. I have received discounted cruises beyond those listed and allowed me to pick my own cabin although I selected a lower priced guarantee cabin class. I have been offered additional complimentary dining days at their specialty restaurant although I was only entitled to one freebie meal.  Numerous random cakes, desserts and food treats left in my cabin with a congratulations for reaching your rewards status card. Several freebie's for tours on several of the Islands. On one RCCL cruise, I was offered a 1/2 price drink package when I reached my status. Granted I have taken many ( probably took many ) cruises over the past 25 years and possibly I just got lucky. Also it pays to be very polite when booking. Thanks

    Just booked another cruise for this October onboard the Meraviglia and on my cruise ticket a diamond membership popped up.

    I have read the MSC membership privileges benefits page, but will I receive any other added "secret" benefit such as offered by NCL or RCCL when reaching 

    this level ? Thanks

    Just received confirmation that my assigned balcony cabin on the MSC Meraviglia is cabin # 8099 which is an obstructed balcony view and the view is partially obstructed by the lifeboats. Does anyone have any experience with an obstructed balcony view that they may share? Do you suggest that I attempt to change the cabin's location and are these obstructed by lifeboat balconies generally larger in size? Thanks

    My family will be sailing out of the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in October for a 10 day Canadian cruise. Although my question is generic, does anyone have any tips as all my prior cruises have been out of my homebase in Florida. Thanks in advance.

    Can anyone confirm that the Meraviglia sail's out of the Red Hook Cruise Terminal while docked in NYC and if so, any recommendations for an overnight stay at a hotel nearby in Brooklyn ? Thanks

    Two questions

    A group of six adults have booked on MSC Meraviglia and during the check-in process under "TRAVEL WITH", one couple is unable to join the rest of us and the error messages states; "There must be at least one cabin with the Fantastica experience". When I contacted MSC, they advised we couldn't combine the booking numbers in order to eat together as a group of six since one booking DID NOT have the drinking package. Anyway around this only so that our group can dine together ?

     

    What is included / not included in the EASY PLUS PACKAGE ?

  10. In my humble opinion, its a waste of time, a waste of resources and a waste of transportation effort. The MSC Island has several umbrella options without the necessity of purchasing, transporting, loading, unloading, setting-up, taking down, transporting back to the ship and eventually transporting it back home. Makes no sense.

  11. I thank everyone for their reply and our three jackpot wins came from gambling between $5 - $8 per spin on the slots. Also, even with both of us playing with the same card, we couldn't generate the 9,999 points required for a free cruise, but we in the past have received fully comp ( less taxes ) 7 night balconies cruises for around 5,000 casino points. Thanks

    Both my wife and I just came back from the MSC Seashore cruise and had a wonderful time. Also both of us each won a jackpot of over $1200 in the casino. Question - After winning over $1200, neither one of us had to fill out a 1099 (W-2G) tax form and no taxes were taken out.  Is this common ? Thanks

  13. Currently booked for a seven day cruise on the Seashore September 3 and booked on May of this year. 

    My spouse is currently COVID positive ( good health ), but still positive. What are my options to cancel and postpone this cruise? 

    Although in 12 days my spouse should be fine, present herself as negative but fearing spreading anything, can we postpone our cruise for free?
