Some "Accessible" cabins to check would be 1174A, 1166A, 1162A, 1154A. The VV description says they are the same size as non-ADA cabins but then says grab bars by toilet and shower bench & grab bars. There is no way they could put grab bars and shower bench ion the normal sized (not XL cabins) baths.
I know deck plans are not to scale but they looks exactly 1.5 times the size of regular Sea Terraces on the "Z" side across from them.
I'm just trying to find out size, layout, and if the beds can be made into the sofa during the day.

CANTGETIN - thank you for your response.
Would be nice if they had more descriptions on their site and possibly some photos which would be great.
I spoke to sailor service and they are not able to put up a specific cabin number and see details of the cabin like other cruise lines customer services can do - growing pains still...

Hello All.
Does anyone know what the differences are?
I believe Ambulatory is for wheelchair users.
I think Accessible is for individuals not in a wheelchair but with some mobility issues.
Ambulatory has a fixed queen bed (so no conversion to a sofa setup).
Wondering is Accessible is the fixed bed or if those have the convertible to sofa setup?
Thank you in advance.

OK....so the JS's located on the hump that only have double occupancy (which are all the hump JS's) are the ones that have the tub and walk in shower. All the other junior suites that are located on deck 9 NOT on the hump have the tub only.
As far as difficulty climbing in and out of the tub...I wouldn't think it's any different than like your home tub.
Hi again bajathree: The JS4 cabins on Deck 7 of Odessey (7234,7236,7238,7240) - those would have the walk-in shower - correct?
-
$200.00 per person. The maximum on the invite was $220.00 per person.
Got one of the JS4 cabins on the hump with the walk-in shower which is what I wanted.

My JS Royal Up just got confirmed.

So - still not update on my 23OCT2021 Odessey bid for Royal Up. A week now since my GS bid expired and my JS bid remained at PENDING but became locked as far as the ability to Modify or Cancel. On one of the FB groups for the sail date - appears GS's wins got assigned yesterday and one person commented they got their JS accepted - I just continue to wait patiently (not really) wondering if the inability to modify at this point is a positive indicator...

My wife thought so, LOL. I am driving her crazy with RoyalUp stuff and she says we are not going to get Star Class and I need to forget it.
With a pending locked bid I would say you are sitting good. I think human nature is to wait it out and not feel like you are bidding against yourself and up the bid. I am sure not going to bid more now.
Espn: Did anything happen with your bid(s)? My GS is still expired and my JS still sits at PENDING and non-modifiable after almost a week. I sail on this Saturday.

I have found out recently that your eligibility to bid a Royal Up depends on whether the agency you booked through "participates" in the Royal Up program. If you booked direct with RRCL you would/should be eligible to bid. I know many of the "big box" store travel divisions do not participate in the program.

Espn: Sounds very much like a logical theory. Yesterday one bid expired and the other stayed pending and was locked - that was at 9 days out from my sail date. Time will tell.

jtappend - kind of what I was thinking - seems logical but not sure exactly what logic the Royal Up program operates on. 😆 And if that is an indication of an accepted bid, how long before they would notify us I wonder?
When is your sail date?
-
Hello All:
I sail on 10/23.
My Royal Up bid has always said "Pending" from the moment I made the bid. It still says "Pending" but changed yesterday to where I cannot Modify or Cancel and a bid I did on another category now says "Expired".
What (if anything) are those changes an indication of? Seems you should be able Modify or Cancel the bid up until your bid is accepted or you are notified you did not receive the upgrade.
Thank you!

Hello all:
I saw on one of the Facebook groups that the Oct. 8 Freedom of the Seas sailed with 3,300 passengers - which I think would be about 75% of capacity.
Seems too soon for that high of percentage of capacity - can anyone with knowledge on the sailing confirm?
Thanks!

Did check-in via app tonight. 2 of us.
Mine has a CK to the left under the bar code - the other person does not have that on theirs.
Any idea what CK is for?
Thanks!

bajathree. So any JS - regardless of J1, J3, J4 if on the hump has the walk in shower in addition to tub?
-
Hello all.
Since Odyssey of the Seas is so new this may be a difficult question to get answers on.
On Odyssey they eliminated the JS walk-in closet and created 1.5 baths.
It appears from video reviews that some have only a tub in the tub part of the bathrooms and some have a tub and walk-in shower.
Anyone know how to determine which ones have the walk-in shower?
On another note - how difficult are those tubs to climb into and out of?
Thanks in advance.

Has anyone done the Chef's Table dining experience on the Edge? The cost is $139.00 per person.
If so, did you enjoy it? Do you feel it was worth the cost?
Thank you.

I had called originally during the week and mid-day and felt the Captain's Club rep was believable in her answers.
I called back yesterday (Saturday) and the rep had never heard of a Sunset Suite, and wanted to transfer me to resolutions - I was put on hold but just hung up.
I can't fathom they wouldn't do the FV renovations to the Sunset Suites during the revolution drydock. Also can't image putting people in the new category and then saying "oh sorry - no suite perks for you" (The Retreat, Luminae, Butler) - I already have all 4 perks on my booking.
Also, the Celebrity site under the Sunset Suites says they will be available on 3 ships in 2020 but booking engines show no Sunset Suites through the end of 2020 and 1st quarter of 2021. Makes no sense.
I'll let you know if I come across any more information.
-
Are you on a guarantee FV? If not they can't "upgrade" you without your consent.
They would have to offer at least Aqua since that is the same pricing as the FV at the moment and some OBC in addition inb my opinion.
Let us know what you find out - I didn't even try with general reservations - called Captain's Club.
-
mandream: I wonder the same thing. I spoke with Captains Club this afternoon and they say that the FV category will be converted to the Sunset Suites during the revolution drydock in MAY2020. They also stated that if someone is in the FV and it converts to Sunset Suite prior to their sailing Celebrity would honor the reservation with all suite perks provided.
Interesting part is the Constellation sailings still show FV on sailings after the MAY2020 revolution drydock until sometime around March/April of 2021 and then the SN shows and FV category is no longer listed - very odd to me.
I can't imagine they would not do that major of a cabin renovation/redesign during the revolution drydock. Doing it after seems like it would be a logistical nightmare.
Would love to get a more definitive answer so I can decide if I want to keep my FV for NOV2020 and hope it becomes an SN prior to sailing for change to another category or sail date. 😁

Rewind - can you tell me if 6654 had additional width to the cabin also? I've see cabins on harmony where the balcony is larger as there is something next to the cabin (not a cabin) but the cabin is not any wider.
Thank you!

JFontaine - thank you very much for your input!

vtcruising - thank you for your very thorough reply.

Trying to figure out dinner reservations.
Can anyone tell me what the times are for the "major" production shows?
Thanks in advance.
