  1. Sorry if this been asked before but I couldn't find it on the search.

RCI are offering 3, 4 and 5 night dining packages on our sailing but doesn't specify the specialty restaurants that can be used.

On our last trip we had the 3 night package and used Izumi, Giovanni's and Chops but this time there's also Chef's Table listed, can we have that as part of the package?

    Thanks

  2. Look for NBC Sports Network. My MIL in Ponce has it, so I've watched a few races at her place.

But that is who holds the rights to F1 in the US, which covers Puerto Rico as well.

In the past, even after Fox Sports dropped coverage to NBCSN, since the channel was not available, we found the race on Fox Sports Espanol. I don't think it's there anymore.

If you can stream Sky on one of your devices- I'd give that a shot.

Thank you, we'll try for NBCSN when we get there, we might not get Sky to work over there as it's limited to the UK but there may be an app to help. Apparently I should have checked with the F1 diary when I booked it 18 months ago!

  3. Formula one is not really relevant in PR. For some reason people here are mainly obsessed about drag racing 1/4 mile in a straight line. Not even NASCAR has much of a presence here. I'm a motorsports and NASCAR fan and while I enjoy drag racing, actually turning on a race is more interesting to me (even if they're just 4 bloody left turns...lol). So, unless you're at a hotel on the 27th and the race is being broadcast on one of the major networks, expect your husband in a bad mood that day for having missed the finale.

Thank you Stinger-pr, we guessed as much when the response to my post was a deafening silence! He should be able to use our Sky Go log in if we can find a bar with Wifi that's happy for him to sit there for two hours :D

  4. That's a big 'Yes' to booking now then! Sadly the inclusive drinks package offer doesn't apply as it's not a European cruise I'm planning. :(

If it's the Caribbean it's a definite yes for booking early, the cruise may drop in price but in my experience the flight costs always increase the closer you get. They've been offering 20% off the drinks packages of late so you may have it on the trip you book.

  5. Check your prices - we are booked on the Ovation OTS in December. In June I purchased 2 Premium Packages (with the 20% Discount). They have recently dropped their prices, so I cancelled the packages and purchased 2 new Deluxe Packages (also with 20% discount). I saved AUD225! :)

Thankfully we booked ours with the earlier 20% discount offer when the conversion was still $1.42 so we made a saving on the prices they are charging now :)

  6. We've advanced purchased the premium package, which I understand is now being upgraded to the ultimate when checking in. The package lists sodas included, do they give you the plastic cup so that you can use the freestyle machine (if there is one on Jewel)?

Also how does wine work in the restaurant? Do you just ask for a glass of red/white and they bring it as part of the package?

    Many thanks ☺
