I have just done a dummy looking for a cabin for 4 and it conforms my suspicion that all cabins capable of taking 4 people are sold

But when I go to book for 2 people it offers me a cabin which, on the deck plan, will take 4 people

  2. Hi hive-mind!!

We are wanting to book Ventura on 3rd August 2024 but whenever we look at the website or speak to travel agents, it seems that all cabins are restricted to only two people per cabin, meaning we'd have to split ourselves between two cabins with one adult and one child per cabin.

Deck ans show rooms available which can take four people but we can't book them!

Anyone aware of what's going on and if this is a normal thing with p&o?

    Thanks in advance

  3. Currently, children between 12 and 17 have to have had both covid jabs. Children between 5 and 12 do not need to be vaccinated but need to provide a negative PCR within three days of departure (Currently provided complimentary by P&O)

This guidance is due to be reviewed/changed at the end of April though

  4. Following a little wait, P&O have responded to an email I sent them about this. It seems they no longer provide complimentary LFT tests but they are still providing PCR tests for unvaccinated children under 12.

They also just seem to want the LFTs with a certificate, rather than ones witnessed by a healthcare professional.

  5. Hi all

We are due to fly out to meet Azura in a few weeks. When we booked we were told that COVID testing would all be complementary through a particular company and we would do pre-departure LFTs at the airport. Today we have had an email saying we now need to source our own tests.

Has anyone else had this email and does anyone know what kind of LFT we need (i.e witnessed or just with a certificate or even a cheapo one we can wave at them in the terminal?)

  6. Hi all.

We are due to sale the med in April, feels like the cruise is getting close (less than 60 days to go) but there are still no flight details available.

Has anyone had a similar experience or know when they are likely to be released?

    Thanks in advance

    Ade

  7. Hi all.

We are due to sail on Azura in April, with port stops in Croatia, Greece, Malta, Turkey and Italy. There seems to be some contradictions between the covid entry advice on the websites of P&O the FCO and the countries themselves.

Has anyone been to these countries recently? and if so, what did you need to do to get in?

    Any help really appreciated.

    Ade.

P.S. I am guessing there is every possibility that the covid rules will change between now and then
