  1. I use a nylon watch band type holder for my medallion and will stick with it.  My wife likes change and is looking for something different.  Yes we are aware of many items available via Amazon and other sources but does Princess have an official medallion accessory catalog that she can peruse prior to getting the notification to check in?

  2. This one has been on our list for a while and glad to be booked.  Lots has changed on Princess since our last cruise with them.  We focused exclusively on RCCl for years to spend time on their new ships, which are amazing!

    Now we need to begin the process of looking at excursions, a lot to look at and decide on.  So if anyone has been to these places before we would love your recommendations.

    Also, why are the excursions in Hawaii not showing at this time?

  3. Pinnacle RCCL cruisers but this itinerary was perfect. So we just booked this one.  Always wanted to see this part of the world but at this point in life we absolutely hate long flights.  So this one is perfect.

    We will need to figure out all the new Princess Medallion stuff but have time to do so.  One of the things we love about Royal is their Coastal Kitchen.  Anything like that on Grand?  Is there a Roll Call for this cruise?

  4. Decided to come back to Princess for a long transatlantic cruise and need advice.  We have never sailed on Regal Princess.  Booking an aft Penthouse Suite and all that's left are A734 or C739.  We love to hang out on our balcony on sea days but also like privacy from above.  Do these cabins provide any privacy?  Which room would you pick of these two?  Do they have loungers that lay flat?

  5. We have 12648 booked for a December Holiday cruise.  I have seen many videos on these 2 bedroom suites but some show a hot tub on the deck and some don't.  One shows just a small table and chairs for eating but others show a large table that seats at least 4.

    Can someone who has had this room recently confirm that it has a hot tub and a table for 4?

  6. We are booked on the Oct 16th sailing but now are able to do b2b if we can find a cabin on Oct 9th (can't do the 23rd).  OS, GS, or A3 is what we are looking for.  On a wait list but thought I'd see if anyone is considering canceling?  YES, I know final payments have been made and odds are low, but stuff happens and people do by insurance in case they need to cancel.

  7. Appreciate the optimism.  I do believe a vaccine will come through and there will be good therapies in addition but even with that this event changed cruising forever, but we will adjust just like we did for airline travel after 9/11 and as greenie said if new measures minimize/eliminate COVID-19 it should do the same with noro.  We are keeping this booking and are looking at Royal Carib cruises in late 2021 and 22.  Betting on pharma to come through and betting on the cruise lines to come back strong.

  8. This Hawaii and Tahiti cruise is still a ways out.  It's part of our retirement cruise we have planned on for years.  No one has a crystal ball but two questions I thought I would throw out there;

    1) do you think this sailing will happen with COVID-19?

    2) do you think cruising post-COVID will be anything like it was pre-COVID?

    Did you look at the video I linked above?

    I did finally look at it and it is one of the best cabin videos I've seen, great job!  I was surprised that the balcony only had one lounger, is that normal or specific to 1562?

    It was weird the last time we did our B2B in Vancouver.  Apparently the popular thing is to B2B in Seward.  We were the only ones on the B2B turn around in Vancouver, except one high end corporate RCI executive.  The three of us were marched off, through security, and marched right back on.  We were not allowed to walk around Vancouver for the day.  I don't think security knew what to do with us "odd balls".  😮

    We just finished b2bs on Allure on August 25th and there were about 40-50 of us.  We start and finish in Vancouver due to ease of getting to and from airport and the fact that we are meeting friends there for embarkation.

    Ahh..."Sea" you on board on the 14th!  Keep her warm for us until we can join you in Seward!  Love watching her come in around 4 am.  Already light then too!  Staying at a B&B on the water for three nights precruise in Seward.  Good view of your approach.  🙂

    Yes, will see you on board!  We have a harbor view room at Pan Pacific so hoping we can get some good pictures as well!
