  1. I saw that they had canceled the April 2nd cruise. I’m on the cruise before that one. Does anyone know what the problem is? I assume it is a pod issue, but you know what they say about assuming.

It is a pod problem but they are still able to do 18 knots. Yes they did cancel the April 2nd cruise. We are doing a b2b2b starting on Feb.18th and the first leg they cancelled one port and have changed some of the hours we will be in other

ports. So far no changes on the other 2 cruises.

  2. Taking a Celebrity cruise which we are elite. We are diamond on RCL. Do the points accumulate to each? Will be diamond + soon on RCL. Wondering if we get credit for Celebrity and RCL combined.

Sorry to say that they do not combine points. They honor each others points but do not combine them.:(

  3. Just packing for our Legend cruises out of Brisbane shortly - going to be doing NZ, Aus and the Pacific islands.

Apologies if it's been asked many times before, but I can't find anything specific or anything on our cruise planner about dress code. The FAQ bit on RCI's site in the UK is a dead link as well.

We assumed that RCI had gone like Celebrity and scrapped the dress code, but a quick check indicates that they haven't so just as well that we looked before leaving!

Will there still be a mix of casual, smart casual and formal nights on cruises out of Brisbane. Is it still the old dress code of shirt/trousers for casual, jacket for smart casual and suit/tie or tux for formal?

How strictly is it enforced? Whilst we have no intention of dressing unsuitably, the luggage

allowance restrictions mean we simply can't take everything so might have to eat elsewhere on formal nights.

We sailed out of Sydney last Feb. and the dress on 3 formal nights on a 16 night cruise for men was sportshirts/trouser to tuxes. For women was slack outfit to cocktail dresses. Rest of nights were casual attire. The dress code was very laxed. Have a great cruise.
