They gave us $792 pp future cruise credit after final payment when our Alaska cruise dropped, to use within 1 year

We have been accepted at 48 hours, and once declined at 48 hours but then received a call the next morning (day before the cruise) offering us the upgrade we had been declined for….

We did the luau with the all day tour, which was a better deal. The luau was amazing and the whole day was fantastic. Highly recommend

We will be on the same tour with 20+ of our friends and family. Some of us are flying in a day early (getting our own flights). See you in 300ish days!

Hasn’t changed anywhere in my reservation or even when I mock a future cruise booking, for my January cruise...

The OP (not you) said Feb-Apr cruises without a year we’re cancelled.
A cancellation of a cruise next week would have had higher compensation. A cancellation of a cruise next year,,, with NCL, you’re lucky to get anything (NCL cancelled two of our cruises within the last year on 6 month notice and we got little for it).
I’m happy with the 10%; we have plenty of time to find another cruise to book. I hope we can find a similar deal though; when we booked 12/31, we got $500 off pp on top of the available deal through groups...

That makes more sense. The 10% credit for a cruise next week made no sense at all.
did someone say it said 10% off a cruise next week? I mentioned a future booking
My email is directed to sailings from 1/3 - 2/7/21

Thanks so much for posting, I enjoyed your live review. We are doing a 10 day on the Sun next year. It's been a long time since I sailed a smaller ship; would you have felt it was to small for that long?

Thanks for bringing us along on your journeys, Doug!

We have rented hotel rooms for the day on a few occasions through dayuse when we have had later flights. It’s worked well for us. The Miami south beach tour is nice too. Enjoy your trip!

It is different for Haven cruisers.
Huh. We have sailed in the Haven and never had docs or tags mailed to us

From what I have read, it is most often any tower other than Rainbow and Alia (which cost more). We booked on our own for pre cruise there and can’t wait. Have a great trip!

That generally happens when they are preparing the bid offers! Fingers crossed for you

Some of these responses were kind of harsh. I guess the rest of you have never had to live paycheck to paycheck, and have never gotten behind on things.
Templ I hope you have it figured out. It’s awful that this happened - I doubt you would get much of a refund from them this late, too. Could you borrow money from anyone?
best of luck to you

Hi Jamie! We have stayed in several aft balconies (they are our favorite!), including one on our recent Bliss cruise. I think you wont be disappointed with an aft. There is nothing more relaxing than watching the wake! Have a great trip

Enjoying your review. We are aft balcony on Bliss 2/2. Did you experience any of the slot issues I have heard about ?
We have an aft balcony on 2/2 as well!
Alyssa, great review, thanks for sharing your experience with us!

My favorite foods are Guy's burgers, Blue Iguana breakfast burritos, all the pizza, the turkey sandwiches at the deli, chocolate melting cake (with extra ice cream), the banana splits in the dining room, huevos rancheros for breakfast at sea day brunch, room service BLTs for breakfast on the balcony, the room service chocolate cake, and most of the apps and dinner items in MDR are delicious. Grand Marnier souffle and bitter and blanc are aslo tasty. I love Carnival's food!

And here I thought all the weird and intrusive requests had been contained to Doug's thread.

In which case, can you get a pic of the storage space underneath the bed in room 10918? I need to make sure our luggage fits. If you could measure it too, that would be great . ;p;p;p:p:D

Have you contacted the groups department? They handle our seating every year (2 tables next to each other)

I am currently looking at cruises for Spring Break 2019, and don't know what to book. I know I want to go to the Caribbean, want at least 6 days, but I don't know what else. What ship, what itinerary, and why? FYI, we are first-time cruisers.
I would choose at least 7 days, a ship with Guys burgers and a serenity deck, and an Eastern or southern Itinerary. All my favorites. Happy planning!

The kiss on the lips and cucumber sunrise are carnival drinks. I think this list got merged with other cruise line drinks
