Loving your review and pics. Going on Dream in February in adjoining cove balconys, one for my wife and I and one for our 4 kids.

 

One thought that i had regarding the artwork around the ship, was that it was purpously kind of weird and dreamlike. Kind of a play on the Carnival Dream moniker. Just my thoughts on it, and believe me when I tell you that the only

thing I know about art is that it's short for Arthur.

Any recommendations for a hotel that lets you leave your car there while on the cruise?

Staying at Holiday Inn superdome. They have a package where you can leave your car for a discounted rate. No shuttle to the port though so youd need to take a cab. Hope this helps.

You could just call carnival directly. They can pull up the connecting staterooms available. At least that was my experience when we booked connecting cove balconys on the Dream a couple weeks ago.

Anyone know if they sell the Bermuda bus/ferry passes on board before you arrive in Bermuda? I know they did on RCI a few years ago, wondered if NCL did the same. Thank you in advance.

I commented a few times on your last review and this one sure keeps the same high review standards! Good job again. Glad you had a good time and all the best to Tracy in Regina. I'm sure your daughter was sad she missed out. My kids are younger than yours but we find that cruises are great family holidays.

 

We just got back from the Carnival Elation with the kids and my inlaws who are snowbirding down in Alabama and we had a great cruise with great weather. So nice to leave the cold behind for a week or so. Next Feb I'd like to do Fascination out of Jacksonville to HMC, but Nov/2012 my wife wants to go on the new Disney Fantasy which will be big bucks. She doesn't think we can swing both...

 

Hopefully when Tracy gets back you guys can plan more cruises. As you know, there's nothing like them! How long will it be until Tracy gets vacation time off after she completes her training and starts full time? Any idea?

You may have already mentioned it, but are the kids going along as well with you on the Pride? Just wondered if they'd be in school or not or if just the two of you were going. Just out of curiosity, and feel free not to answer if you feel it is inappropriate, but does Carnival give out any discounts when you book multiple back to backs like you did? I seem to remember before they would if you went back to back on the same ship, doing and Eastern/Western route but wasn't sure if they would apply something like that when sailing on multiple ships. IMHO they really should give a discount for a trip like you did. Congrats again on all your hard work and planning your wife's surprise the way you did. Enjoy your future vacations together.

This is no different that you'll see on the pool deck of a cruise ship. There is no "porn" in this picture, everything is covered. Do you also find cruises immoral because a female may be wearing a revealing swimsuit? C'mon now, is the picture in question really that horrible?
