Ship - Navigator of the Seas
Deck - Nine
Stateroom # -548
Stateroom Category – Junior Suite
Starboard or Port Side - Port Side
Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Very quiet, close to forward stairs and elevators.
Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - no
Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – no obstructions, could smell smoke at times, but not sure if it was a stateroom smoker or from pool, or deck 4. Was very easy to hear your neighbors on the balcony.
Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal
Was wind a problem? - no
If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? -
Any specific problems with this cabin? - no real issues. Nice room. Couch and chair comfortable
Any other comments? - Overall, very happy. Only 2 outlets on unit near TV. Included coffee maker with good coffee is on a table without an outlet and needs to be lifted to the main unit by the outlets to be plugged in. Not a big deal.

We had this booked a week ago and it was canceled due to lack of workers. We were able on ship to book a shorter, just whale watching, excursion.
We did this and really enjoyed. When you get around to the river look for eagles.
When you are done consider going to the Skagway Brewing Co. Order the Halibut and chips. Best we ever ate. Also go to Doughboy and order one each. They look big enough to share and they are but they are sooo good.
If we go to Victoria again we will do the Pedicab tour. It was a thought but went to the Castle instead. I think you will enjoy more on the Pedicab tour.
Hope that Juneau one is running in July. We've already had our excursions cancelled for Skagway 3 times.

Hey all, first time poster, sailing soon on Ovation in room 6642 J4. Does anyone know if the Bus Shelter smoking room is still there? Trying to figure out if I need to move my room to one of the few others that are left.

Does anyone know if excursions booked directly with Royal Caribbean pick you up at the pier in Sitka or do you need to take the shuttle into Sitka to get the excursion?
