If pushing your children (I dislike the term "kids") to a club is so important, then maybe cruising is not the right choice for a family holiday?

In Gilbert Jessop's days a player using a cricket bat was called a batsman.  A term still in use until recently.  As far as I'm concerned it always will be.  Men are batsmen and ladies are batswomen.  Batter is something you put round a piece of fish!!!
