Yes, up 12 500ml cans/bottles. There are likely no bottles at all on board and few cans (other than water). Don't dismiss the Freestyle machines - they have flavors not available anywhere else - you might like some of them.

Thank you for the quick response, that's very helpful!

I'm definitely willing to give the Freestyle machines a go! I guess I worry about the taste, the soft drink being flat etc. and then I would be disappointed haha. So it's good to know we can bring on our own cans as a backup.

  2. Hi everyone

My husband, my 6 year old daughter and I will be doing our first RC cruise in December, on Quantum of the Seas. It is a 9 night cruise from Brisbane to the South Pacific.

I'm currently looking at the drinks packages and think the non-alcoholic package might be a good option for us. I would have liked to purchase the deluxe package but currently it is over $1k AUD for hubby and I, and while we like a drink are not huge drinkers and I don't think I can justify the cost! I think we are better off purchasing the odd beer and cocktail here and there.

My question is around the type of soft drinks offered on board. Are cans or even bottles of soft drink available on RC ships? I can see the packages state that the Coca-Cola Freestyle and fountain soda options are available, but I don't like the sound of these? I know I'm fussy.

I've also read you can bring your own cans onboard? If that's the case we might just do that and purchase the water and coffee packages instead.

    Thank you!
