  1. At least AT&T let us retro a cruise plan on his phone, so does anyone know how the ship plans work, I’m guessing there not a huge benefit to the customer. We also got the top drink plan only to find out you are limited in the amount. Don’t get me wrong I love CCL but at least on RCCL, unlimited was unlimited. And no, I don’t plan on maxing out the plan but I have to many end of trip bills under the door.

  2. No idea, we were RCCL and from the first night he was out till 1am with new “Friends” and the last night he was back as we were pulling into Galveston. I have no idea what apps are available at sea but apparently he used them all. We found out about it at the hotel in Galveston when they shut off his and my wife’s phones. I was thinking since he turns 18 next week and this is our last family trip as he goes to bootcamp 3 days after graduation in June we will let him have fun. And now we know about att cruise packages for phones, lesson learned;)

  3. Going on the Freedom in 3 weeks and got the 18 to be at cruise time, my boy the $100 internet package for the trip, last trip he racked up $800 in bill fees. He happens to be rather social on cruises if you get my drift. My wife and I did the cruise package option with our carrier for our phones ($100 plan). Just for info he has Sprint and we are AT&T. Decent move or are there other options.

  4. RCCL perks were much better than CCL, have done multiple suites on CCL and doing one next month. Having the concierge on RCCL on the last trip was great, the lounge was fun (free drinks and orderves before dinner was cool) and having the concierge take you straight to the tender down through the staff access only areas while bypassing all lines was worth it

  5. Also did the same trip with the exception of Dominica, planned no excursions just hit some awesome beaches that I found on here. Best cruise we have had so far. I am jealous as next month we hit the same ports that we have seen before, a few times over.

  6. The past two times we've been in Roatan (last time was Aug 2017) we have gone to the Infinity Beach Resort. They have day passes. Not all inclusive but they have a few bars and food available in the pool/ beach area.

Very nice beach and beautiful pool.

A short cab ride from the terminal.

You can call the Infinity Bay Resort for their day pass rates.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you' date='[/quote']

Do you happen to remember how much the day passes were?

  7. Thanks to all of you for the info, We did a snorkel trip 2 years ago there and are just looking for something more laid back this trip. As far as safety, the boy was there last year on the mainland delivering shoes to needy kids for a week and he came home in one piece.

  8. Did this ship before in the cabin most forward on the lido above the bridge and not much movement JS 9203 or something like that, going next month with a Suite midship on her and can’t wait. Loved the Lido deck room though (walk down the hall get your food and bring it back) but now it’s like an Captains suite or something,so way to expensive. Fun ship though and look forward to seeing her again.

  9. Is there a good, quiet beach within a cab ride from the ship to go to ( CCL Liberty). We did a snorkel trip last time, which was cool but don’t want to pay that much just to go swimming again. And does CCL dock in the same place as RCCL, if anyone knows. Thanks for any info.

  10. Pretty sure its a later than normal departure if your on a Cozumel Plus itinerary. Even if not...Sr Frogs opens around 11am....LOL

We’re doing the Liberty out of Galveston at the end of next month for a 7 dayer, same trip as 2 years ago except the last one was RCCL Liberty of the Seas. Hopefully CCL post some new times soon.

  11. I should also add...once a few years ago on the breeze out trip turned into a carnival live Smokey Robinson cruise. We did then extend time in Cozumel until midnightish. So maybe that's possible.

The old Carnival days, Cozumel was a stop till midnight or 1 am. We are hoping it’s later than the six o clock deal, Our boy will hit 18 early March (drinking age) so we want to hit Senor Frogs with him as he goes to boot camp in early June.

  12. I know most of you are seasoned cruisers, who hasn't come into Galveston and hit the fog, who hasn't had the engine trouble that caused a change in itinerary( although Carnival totally took care of us on that one) my Honeymoon cruise was up in the air due to hurricane Marylynn in 95 as to which ports in the S.Carib we would actually see as they kept getting whiped out till the day we left. This the life of cruising and we all do it because we love it

  13. Priority tendering would be nice, on or last RCCL trip they had a concierge guy that would take you to a staff elevator, past all the lines and right onto the tensor. Kinda nice when the line is up 9 floors. As for getting on early, all we do is go and eat and drink so in the room early is no biggie.

  14. Have done 10 Carnival and 2 Royal Caribbean, my big difference that I'm going to miss on our next Freedom trip is the concierge. Free drinks and snacks every night in the private lounge and direct escort to and on the tenders bypassing all lines via the private elevator.
