20240224_180631.thumb.jpg.927162038b4c64ab23b9703bee64be1b.jpgWe spent 3 weeks in Aqua class on the Reflection in February.  You can order from the Main Dining menu if you prefer that. We sat next to a couple who ordered one entree from Blu and one from the dining room each night. In our experience most people at the two tops enjoy chatting during dinner. In fact, here's a picture of our row of tables. Every night we all sat in the same row but next to different people depending on when you arrived. We had such a good time at dinner.

That's great thank you for that, looking forward to it!

I would pick my own room as some of the cabins are not desirable.  Not thrilled with window washing equipment blocking my view, fitness center above me, etc.  Aqua class rooms  are on Deck 11.

You can each bring a bottle of wine aboard and if you purchase one, they will hold it for you for another meal.

The menus are posted each morning and you can decide where to have dinner. As the tables are very close together on the Reflection, you will have the opportunity to meet others. They are about 12 inches apart.  Entertainments does occur at two separate times in the Theater.

Thank you for the quick response.

  3. We have been on Carnival, Princess and HA.  Looking to book on Celebrity Reflection for a short cruise out of Fort Lauderdale.  We would like a balcony and Aqua Class is at a good price and I like the option of amenities that come with it.  Wondering if all the Aqua Class rooms are on the same floor?  If I went with a guaranteed AC wondering if it will be worth saving the couple hundred dollars?  Can you see the menus daily before you go to the dining room, hoping my DH will be ok with the Blu menu, so we could compare with the MDR. On Princess we were able to view our selections for dinner on the tv daily which was very helpful.  Can we both take a bottle of wine on board at embarkation as with the other lines?  Can I order a bottle of wine at dinner and it can be kept for me for the following night?  With being a couple and not having company with us is there the option to dine with others on this Cruise line?

We really enjoy meeting other people at dinner.  Is the entertainment at 2 separate times during the evening to allow for everyone to see?  Anyone who has been on the other lines and wants to give us a comparison with Celebrity feel free. My favorite cruises so far have been on princess.

  5. we just got off the ship on Oct 1st.  We would eat later between 7 to 7:30 and Capri would always have line ups.  So we would usually go to Santorini and Amalfi no line ups.  I preferred the Amalfi of the two because it felt brighter.  We never tried to book ahead because we never know when we will be ready for supper and like to not be on a tight schedule when travelling.  Hearing from others you would still wait in line if you reserved if it was a busy time.  Although if you decided to book in person the same table for the same time every night you seemed to just head in without lines.  We were a couple and did want to sit with others and this was a struggle to get them to do this for us.  Most nights they would try to encourage us to sit at a table for 2.  We would insist that we would like to try and sit with others and would be willing to wait and they would accommodate.  Always managed to have at least another couple for us.  This we enjoyed so much, so nice to meet people that to us is part of the experience.  Had breakfast in the Capri dining room the last morning because they close early before 9 am.  We had room service deliver coffee and yogurt every morning early and had wonderful service with that.  We did it the old fashion way of filling out the paper and hanging it from the door handle before bed every night.  They even called after the first morning to make sure we received everything.

  6. We were on the 24th of Sept cruise, and we did not see a lot of signs of covid.  Although I was very cautious and wore a N95 mask in areas that were crowded or if it was impossible to social distance and didn't use the elevators if they were crowded.  Alot of people wore masks as well.  I also made sure to carry sanitizer with me as a personal reminder.   I did not want to spoil my trip with getting covid.  Wearing a mask and spending the time washing frequently did not put a damper on our trip at all.  It was worth the effort.  I'm sure there were people quarantined or walking around with covid, but we were some of the lucky ones. People don't realize how many times they grab railings etc... between sanitizing.   We had a great cruise on the Enchanted and we were not on a full ship either, we were told 2900.  Also, when we were in Canada they had a surprise inspection, and they were very pleased that they received a 100% on it.  First time I guess with any of the ships receiving that. 👏

    Here we go again...

Just finished one cruise and now preparing for our December cruise. Right off the bat, the app is giving me issues but this time, in a new area (for me). I'm trying to order the medallion, since you need this to get into the green lane. Being in Canada, I obviously can't have it shipped (thank, Princess) but the "pick up at port" option says it's unavailable. So...what do I do? Is it because we are sailing from Galveston and it's a new port? Anyone else have this issue?

I would not stress about all of this.  We just came back from a cruise on the Enchanted being from Canada I tried also to load everything on and it would not except everything.  Kept booting me out so I gave up and when I got to the terminal they asked if I was green lane I said no Blue.  There was no worries sent me to someone who looked at my info and finished filling it all out and it took minutes and I was not the only one.  Medallion was waiting for me without me even putting anything on the app.
