I believe the anonymity of social media and the internet amplifies who people are deep down. It brings the best out of some people, and the worst out of others.
100% agree.

I just look every day at this point. They are dribbling out the cool itineraries, and the JS/suite guarantees go fast.
This is what I'm doing. Thank you

What’s upsetting is to learn how RCL treats its employees worse than other cruise lines, with fewer “privileges.”
the $100 of salary Royal Caribbean pays most of its crew each week (before tips).
This is just one example:
"Per the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)'s 2022 Occupational Wages Survey (OWS), the average monthly salary in the Philippines is PHP 18,423 (US$328.99)."
It seems to me working on RCL after tips these crew members are better off than many in their country. JMHO

Not sure anyone can really answer this without inside info (like a TA) but I read it as after the last scheduled release.
This was my thinking also. I was hoping it was different. Thank you.

When I look at the Deployment schedule this is what's shown for the area I'm interested in.
"Coming Soon Remaining Deployment April 2025 – October 2026"
The cruise I'm interested in is a 12 night going the Southern Caribbean out of Miami. Does "Coming Soon" mean it's after the last scheduled release of the Week of February 19, 2024 or does it mean soon, as in any day?
I appreciate any help. Thank you

I did get it resolved, I guess. I had to pay $400 more but I’ve got a ocean view, balcony guarantee, instead of a neighborhood, guarantee balcony. That is probably well worth $400 extra. Yes, they were open today.
Great news. Enjoy your cruise.

That's great. For me it says it's closed.
Yea I stumbled on it when I was renewing my license. Never heard of it, so I thought why not.

That's a pilot program that is closed.
I just got it two weeks ago.

Worst case scenario you may be working on a cruise ship for a while. 🙂
OP I hope you know I'm kidding.
Based on your name I'm wondering if you're a Florida resident? If so you may be in luck. I have a digital ID. It's my drivers license on my phone. It's a secure version of your drivers license. Here's a link. https://www.flhsmv.gov/floridasmartid/. Maybe you can get this before tomorrow? It might help? Best of luck.

Any idea how a gift card purchase would code? I don't need to spend this for any upcoming cruise. I'm just looking for the future.

Thank you OP. It's on my Platinum also.

Definitely no issue

You choose at one point to pay the price. You agreed to Royal's terms. Live with it.
There's no doubt in my mind on all my cruises someone paid less than I did and someone paid more than I did. Maybe the ones who paid less owe us? Is this the world you live in?

I'm just glad we had very little flu cases reported.

Recommend a taxi. It's not far, and very safe.

Because they can. 🙂

I believe this is an exception vs the rule. We've been on many cruises and have never experienced behavior like described above. 99% of the teens we've seen or encountered are respectful and are just having a good time. YMMV

Give customer service a call and see if you can book one.

We always leave at least $10 pp. It seems to go a long ways. We also usually eat in Chops for breakfast and get great service.

This is a tough choice. It'll depend on what you have a taste for. Now if one in your party wants a steak and one doesn't I've recommend Giovanni's. They cook a steak that imo is as good as Chops. Multiple appetizers are not a problem at either location.

Emerald, Diamond, Diamond +, Pinnacle Club on Royal status matches to Gold on Caesars.

I've always called and cancelled, then rebought online.

It has been the case for us on 3 purchases. Two rings and a necklace all appraised (for insurance purposes) for 20% more than we paid.

I meant to add they also picked us up from the airport.
Missing final payment by a few days
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
I'm not sure what you meant by "credit card closeout", but here's an idea. If you're concerned about the balance being charged and due the next billing cycle if you make the payment later in the day of final payment there's a chance it want appear on the current statement. Sometimes it takes two days to show up. This isn't guaranteed, but possible. If it shows up on the next bill having some interest is better than risking losing out on a cruise, plus your deposit.
If you're at your limit and you can't go over assuming you have good credit open another credit card and use it.
As previously stated call and ask for an increase if this is an issue.
I would not call Celebrity and try and get an extension. Even if they said yes, how can you trust them?
The bottom line is if you want to go on the cruise get creative. Figure out how to make this work.
