Thanks. That is what I thought but could not find the answer.

I think my wife is over thinking it. She has her backpack but also has a under seat rolling bag can these both count as carry on bags?
-
- I found a whole lots of excursions on Trip Advisor for all the ports. Booked 2 new ones today. Just enter the city. If you find that one keep us posted
-
I also booked direct. I should have pointed that out.

I am Diamond status at Caesars properties and Prime at Ocean Casino. It is my understanding that NCL does not match tiers. Is there anyway I can leverage this at the NCL casino?

My wife and I are going on NCL Breakaway on Oct. 9th from NY to Halifax. Great price and 5 stops. I'll fill you in when we get back.

NCL has many options for party of 5 and sails to Alaska.

Just booked a room at the Hampton Inn Ridgefield Park. As mentioned they have a Stay, Park and Go package. Includes room, parking for the length of the cruise, shuttle to and from the terminal and breakfast for $289 plus tax..

Thank you for the info. I am glad to hear that they have the shuttle. Last time I was looking to book the Hilton Garden Inn near the Hampton Inn in Ridgefield Park, they no longer provided transportation to the pier. This makes the Hampton Inn a good option if I choose to drive in the day before.Â
Coming from Cape May County NJ didn't want to chance any hang ups. It 'just a few dollars then parking in NY.

I am glad the info was posted about hotels with parking, but disappointed that the HGI no longer sets you up with transportation to the pier. We had done this pre-covid and wanted to use this service again. We ended up getting up early, driving in day of cruise, and parking on the terminal when we cruised in March.Â
Â
An option for the OP would be to stay at a hotel at whatever airport they fly into, and get transportation to the pier the next morning.Â

Â
Parking garage: 43rd and 11th (560 West 43rd St.) - it's about $30 a night, depending on what you get from the personnel and within easy walking distance to/from the pier. We don't use the pier parking since we do drive in the night before to have dinner in the city.
Â
Hotel: We've stayed at several that are very nice, and all within walking distance of the parking and pier (if you can walk 20 - 30 minutes at a normal clip)Â
1. The Fifty Sonesta - 155 E 50th St., NY, NY
2. La Quinta Times Square South - 3323 W 38th St., NY, NY
Â
As long as you don't mind a quick walk, anything around Times Square is a good deal. We do only take a small carry on and backpack, so it's not like we have a lot to lug around the city.Â
Â
If you do have a lot of luggage/mobility-impaired, you may want to stay in Jersey and catch the hotel's shuttle to the pier. Here's a few:
Â
1. Hampton Inn Ridgefield Park - free shuttle and parking
2. Hilton Garden Inn Ridgefield Park - free shuttle and parking
3. Fairfield Inn & Suites North Bergen - free shuttle and parking
Â
There's a bunch more in NJ that will do this too.
