  1. On the Better Business Bureau page  I filed an electronic claim today  Below is the link to file a claim

     

    On 06/29/2023, the business filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the federal Bankruptcy Act, case# 1:2023bk11060. This permits the business to continue to operate with court supervision while developing a plan of reorganization. Those with monetary claims against the business are advised to obtain a Proof of Claim form by writing to Massachusetts Bankruptcy Court 5 Post Office Square, Suite 1150 Boston MA 02109 for resubmission to that court. The case number should be entered on the form.

    I have filed with the Florida AG   I initially filed in 2021 when Vantage charged me an additional $1,300 for a trip that was postponed in 2020 stating there was a price increase, again in 2022 when they postponed my trip for the 3rd time and again last month notifying them of all the current issues with Vantage.  The AG send letters to Vantage on each occasion but of course Vantage never responded to the claims.

    Even though I don't live in Pennsylvania I just filed a complaint with the AG for PA.  I am grateful that there is finally action being taken against Vantage.

    I just filed a complaint with the attorney general.  Hopefully they take our complaints serious and stop Vantage from continuing to sell trips knowing that that will never happen.

  5. I am very upset about this. I saw on the website that they are advertising trips now at reduced prices trying to get people to pay for trips that they probably never will go on.  There practices are so shady and they should not be able to get away with it.  I honestly can't believe one thing that Vantage says these days.  I felt so sorry for the travelers that were on the ships when they were asked to leave and most of them had to pay for their trips home.  Something needs to be done but I don't know what else we can do.  We have filed complaints with the BBB and the attorney general.  Everything on the internet is negative feedback from consumers of their shady business practices.

If you review the complaints on the BBB and other forums people have been waiting over two years to receive their money for trip cancellation with the Vantage travel insurance.  I just wish this company would tell the truth instead of all these stories  First their site was down due to construction which we uncovered was false then a data breach.  What is next?  I feel sorry for people that are departing soon on voyages with Vantage because you are not 100% sure that the trip will take place.  How can this company continue to get away with these fraudulent practices  Every week I continue to get marketing material from Vantage   Crazy 

  7. Sorry to hear everyone is still having issues with Vantage.  I filed a complaint with the attorney general earlier this year and of course Vantage never responded to their letter. I find it very odd that they are having internet and phone issues for over 5 days.  So sad what they are doing to people.  Not sure what else we can do at this point.  I had my trip canceled/postponed since 2020.

I am having the same issue with the same voyage for the October 26th departure date.  I did research last week using cruise tracker sites and found out that the ship was still in China.  On Sunday, September 25 I emailed them to confirm that the trip was still on and they replied yet the trip was still scheduled for department. Two days later I go onto my portfolio and the trip was gone.  They canceled the trip with the same excuse as having delays due to Covid and supply chain issues.  On Monday, September 26 I even received notification that my travel documents were ready.  This is the 3rd time they canceled and they will not refund money.  They are literally stealing money from consumers.   This company needs to be shut down.  What they are doing to consumers is horrible and unacceptable.  There is a New York times article that states that there are currently over 600 cases against them filed with the Massachusetts attorney general.
