  1. Hi all. I’m on the Norwegian getaway and we are docked in Cozumel today right next to the MSC Armenia. I have time stamped pics to prove it. Outside of the ship, on the dock is a bunch of luggage, I don’t know it it’s the end port or not.

  2. I"m curious. Obviously, the color season we belong to is our best. Is there a color season that is our worst.

    If I understand right

    Fire= Warm Bright

    Air = Cool muted

    Earth = Warm muted

    Ice= Cool bright

    So If I wear an Ice color it is at least a Bright.

    If I wear an Autumn color at least it is Warm

    If I wear an Air Color it is neither warm nor bright. I should look the worst in Ice, right?

    I definitely feel like I look awful in Ice colors. I can immediately tell the color is all wrong.

    Wearing the other 2 color seasons I look OK, but not my best

  3.

    Looking at this photo...to my eye and on my monitor...the coral on the lower left, the orange in the middle bottom, the yellow on the lower right, the coral above the peach, and the aqua are all FIRE...This would be the basis for me of a color party for you...

    For the lighter colored shirts...if the upper right are cream colored and the upper left is a peach color (it's so pale I can tell for sure)...then these are also FIRE...these colors are so pale though...it doesn't help quite as much to analyze other colors...so even if these are your Fire colors...take them out of the photo.

    That peach in the upper left is shiny so bright in this photo...is that a rayon knit?...because of the shine on that peach it is appearing to be more clear than the peach in the middle column second from the bottom...in this photo that darker peach is looking a bit muted...but from my earlier talk and my continuing understanding, that peach could still be FIRE, but a less intense Fire color...because it doesn't hold it's own against the other colors...even if it is a Fire color, remove it from the picture for analysis...kind of like I did with the one coral sweater in my photos...

    I would take a photo of the five shirts that I think are FIRE to verify that they become a Happy party...if they do...

    I would take the five shirts and form them into a U shape with three across the bottom and one each on the outside upper row...put all questionable colors in the middle upper row...observe what happens with the camera when you push the button half way...and take a picture with each of the other colors...

    Possible Ice v. Fire colors: the royal blue, the red in the top middle, and the hot pink under the red in the middle column.

    Possible Earth/Air: the green.

    Take all the colors that you think are Fire based on these test photos...and take another photo...

    This is what I would do to verify what is happening with your colors.

    OK, Taking this section by section, I agree with you on the 5 colors you listed. I already had taken a picture of 6 shirts, 5 being the ones you mentioned. The hot pink is in the middle. Here is is

    The red is definitely cool as I believe the hot pink is. I'm pretty sure the green and cream colors are Earth

    Now for the blue and peach. It may be lighting because they are a dead match for my cards

  4. Oooo PCITURES! We LOVE pictures! Do share...

    I will take pictures of some of the other clothes that I think are fire, but here are a few of me in fire clothes. I do have trouble telling colors, so I could be wrong. These were taking at a convention in LA last month

    IMG_0113.jpg

    Both shirts were bought at NY and CO

    I'm wearing the same shirt in a different color. Sitting with my hubby and my friend Sam who writes horror novels

    And this is my favorite sweater, also from NY& Co

  5. Yes...it'll be interesting to see the colors in relation to something we know...

    Since every monitor is different...here's what I see...

    Cannes and Persimmon look like potentials for BOTH FIRE and EARTH...Cannes looks a bit muted to me compared to Pink Flare and Ice Rose...and most oranges look great on Earth...this one looks like a hoodie cardigan I have...I love the color...

    Bali looks FIRE...

    Possible FIRE colors are Violet (similar to this has been picked out by Curt for me from Express), Pink Flare, and Ice Rose...I don't know if the jewelry selection is accurate or not...but Pink Flare has silver jewelry in the picture and Ice Rose has gold...but this doesn't necessarily mean anything...

    Possible EARTH colors are Cool Earth, Currant, Rose Sherbet, and Mineral Green...again, Currant has pewter jewelry and the others have golden...but this doesn't mean anything...the Currant color reminds me of a color called "Fig" in Chico's and that was totally Earth...Rose Sherbet reminds me of the wrap that Jane owns that we all called raspberry on the Seasons thread...and that looked great on her.

    I will take pics of me in each color so that you can get a good comparison. They should come early next week. If some of the colors don't work I will take them into the local Express and exchange them

    ETA, I recently got some nice clothes at NY& Co in what looks like fire colors. I can post them

  6. Hi Jenny!

    Funny thing is, when I looked at the color samples on that site, I could not tell the difference on my computer between Ice Rose and Pink Flare! The color names are unusual, as you said! Cannes, Persimmon, Bali are your best bets. And Pink Flare and Wild Pink - I am not certain, but they look good for Fire/Spring. Questionable: Gray, Blue, Ivory. They may be too cool in real life for a firey lady!! :p

    The Ice Rose looks warmer to me than the pink flare, which is funny, what with the ice in the name...I had the Persimmon, Cannes and Bali on my , "I think they are fire" list

  7. I don't really think any of them ARE good Fire colors...but you never know! :rolleyes: And I have to make allowances for the shortfalls of online shopping.

    One of the best things that has happened in the world of shopping is the availability of so much online. It's just important for everyone to understand return policies! :D There is a cost/benefit to ALL shopping...whereas the cost of gas/time is for real life, the potential for returns and time associated is the cost for online shopping. The more we compare notes though, I think the more we can reduce the potential for returns...

    One bummer about VS is that I don't think one of us could head down to the mall to check out the colors...so much is catalog or online only for their non-lingerie clothing. Correct me if I'm wrong...the mall is one exit down the way...we would gladly head on over there next week and test all the colors! If it works for Mom, FIRE, for me, EARTH, for Dad, ICE, and if none of us...AIR! We are a FIERCE shopping team!

    It's very rare to find actual VS clothes in the store aside of lounge/sleepware. It's a shame. However, many of their various clothes use the exact same colors, so you may be able to look at a pair of PJ's in the same color as the shirts or dressed. We do have a VS outlet in Wrentham. I hope to make a trip to it this winter to check things out. I'd think they would have more actualing clothin

  8. As an example, which of these colors are fire?

    My guesses are

    Enchanting pink, Aquarium,deep aubergine and maybe the Heather?

    and what about this one?

    I really like this dress and i think maybe the Aquarium, Cobalt, Violet rose, and Chocolate are fire?

  9. just a heads-up. Of course, there are sales everywhere after the holidays, but VS is my go-to for that.

    And I also wanted to post today just to say: Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

    Hi, I haven't posted on this thread but I posted a lot on the other season thread. I'm still having a lot of problems picking the right colors. I just don't get it sometimes. I also love VS and buy a lot of clothes from there. I plan to shop online for those early Jan sales, so I would love to compare stuff with you. Maybe we can figure out the fire colors.

    They also have great codes which I find by typing in VS codes on google
