As was pointed out, this was a reply to your post about the dietary needs on December 15, 2022. It’s now June 18, 2023 less than a month before your cruise. What do you really expect Carnival to do at this point if you didn’t contact them months ago?
I did contact them in April because the shop was not even in operation months ago. I’ve been getting all different answers from all different people but no contact of whom I can speak to once on the ship should the request not have been taken care of as they said it would be.
They also said they could not have items in our cabin.

Carnival allows 12 drinks per person so the Carnation breakfast drinks which are in cartons won't be an issue, bring them. You can also bring a small cooler with the yogurts and I highly doubt Carnival would have an issue with this either.
Thank you this is good to know! At least my mind will be at ease that he’ll be able to eat.

I guess I’m surprised because on Norwegian it was taken care of in one contact and I got the restaurant manager’s name/extension to request more.
on RC they were in our fridge upon arrival; so expected the same from Carnival—guess I’m not dealing with same caliper cruise line? 🤷♀️

No, did not know that existed. Do you have contact info by chance?

We're booked on Venezia in July & I've been contacting customer service for the past month to get this rectified. I've been given the runaround. I've gotten 4 different responses and NO person to contact upon boarding.
My son has a feeding condition and ONLY eats 1 type of yogurt & Carnation Instant breakfast drinks and I have to be assured that these things will be available upon boarding. First they said no problem; I sent pictures and they asked me the amounts BUT then they got the amounts wrong & when I contacted them again they said there are a plethora of food items available at X amount of restaurants etc.
At that point I asked for a person's name to contact specifically as this is a medical condition and these items HAVE to be available for him as he literally eats NOTHING else.
How do I get this taken care of b/c at this point may have to cancel. 😞

Hello & welcome! I hear our cruise is sold out!
-
Just booked some excursions & the wifi & soda package for my kids. Think I'm not going to do Cheers for me.
Anyone else with us that hasn't commented?

Would the social plan include Snapchat?

Very nice, welcome ffasalex, is it a big family or friends?

Thank you for your insight everyone!
I just think it's ridiculous to pay $500 for phone service, but guess I have no choice.

If you have iPhones, you can send texts (iMessages) to anyone that also has an iPhone. You will need an internet connection to do so. It will work with all Carnival Wi-Fi plans. I’m not sure if the same can be done with Android’s.
This is good to know; do you mean anyone on the ship or anyone in general?

It kills me to spend $450 for a 9 day cruise for 3 people (lowest plan)

We're booked on Venezia this summer; I'm going with 2 teenagers.
IF I DON'T pay for a Wi-Fi plan what are we able to access on our phones? (Nothing, messages, ?)
If I do pay for a WIFI plan, I realize it's for 1 device at a time (or you'd have to book for each person). For the lowest plan would I be able to send text messages?
My kids will want Snap for sure. I will probably want to upload pics, have access to facebook or messenger on FB or texts.

Thank you both so much; my daughter is also vegan so it’s nice they would accommodate her as well.

Hello I just booked a cruise this summer with my 2 kids on the Venezia. My son (14) has special dietary needs and only drinks Carnation Instant breakfast drinks & one type of banana yogurt—nothing else.
Will they carry that yogurt or drinks for him? Will I be able to bring on? Who would I need to speak to?
On Norwegian they took care of him.
Thanks

My children are 14 & daughter will turn 16 on cruise.
Sorry about font; haven’t been on these boards in forever.

Hello there Kaitkale, just booked tonight for my daughter's 16th birthday. So excited; haven't been on a Carnival cruise since 2006. A bit concerned that this Costa class will be just as fun as the old Carnival. Excited that it's a newer ship.
So great leaving out of NY (we're on the island).

Never heard of a Mickey Rooney

Thanks so much; I'm guessing 12+ is an adult?
No Shirley Temples 😞

I'm booked on a cruise on the Venezia this summer and my kids will be in 2 separate teen age groups for the clubs; would they allow both kids to be in one of the groups or are they strict with the ages, etc? Thanks so much.

I haven't cruised on a Carnival ship since our honeymoon in 2006 (European-2 week)--divorced now 😅, just booked Venezia for this summer & will be traveling with my 14 & 16 year olds. Wanted to know if they offer an unlimited soda plan & if so if it would include Shirley Temples. (price?) Thanks.
Son needs specific yogurt/drinks for medical reason Customer Service HORRIBLE CARNIVAL

Because when we booked with RC & Norwegian it was never an issue; so I figured the same with Carnival. My bad.
