  1. Hi, I've encountered a problem to do with my booking within the Celebrity app. I've made a multiple stateroom booking for several guests which appears to be all linked up. However, I'm not sure exactly what has happened, but the app seems to "recognise" me as one of the other guests in one of the other booked staterooms. I've tried to fiddle around within the app but essentially under "My cruise" it has the booking for two of the other guests in an different stateroom, and my stateroom is classed as a "linked" stateroom. Who would be able to sort this out?

  2. Hi everyone, just looking for some clarification on this one. We've previously stayed in an Aqua Class stateroom (not suite) and loved dining in Blu, in fact it was one of our favourite parts of the cruise. We plan on staying in a suite for our next cruise, however it would just be a normal sky suite as the price for the Aqua Class Sky Suite was considerably more and above our budget. Is it still possible to dine daily in Blu for breakfast and dinner as Sky Suite (not Aqua Class) guests? If so, how would we go about doing this and is there a cover charge? Interested to hear people's experiences as we couldn't find anything up-to-date regarding this. Thanks in advance!

  3. We are excited for our first ever cruise next month on Celebrity Beyond.

We are booked in a Aqua Class stateroom which we are aware includes dining in the Blu restaurant.

My partner and I are really keen to try each of the Main Dining Room restaurants (Cosmopolitan, Tuscan, Normandy, Cyprus) which are included, in addition to dining in Blu. How do we go about booking tables for each night, as we prefer to plan and book ahead? Is it straightforward for us to do this even though we have been assigned to the Blu restaurant as part of Aqua Class?

Which dining times are typically most popular?

  4. First time time cruisers here. Just wondered if worth booking directly with Celebrity for on-shore excursions or go direct with local vendors. Is there anywhere reputable which could be used to look at reviews of particular tours for our upcoming Mediterranean cruise? Where is best place to find reputable local vendors which pick up and drop off at same locations as the ones organised by Celebrity, as presumably could save quite a lot of money this way? Is it worth arranging ourselves?

We have $450 OBC for this particular cruise. Is it a good use of the OBC to spend this on some excursions booked directly through Celebrity?

  5. Quick question. First ever Celebrity cruise booked for me and my partner. Actually first ever cruise. Can’t wait. I created a Captain’s club account beforehand for myself pre-emoting the fact that I could earn some points with this booking. The agent has linked my booking to my Captain’s Club and the booking states I will get 50 points, is this usually after the cruise has taken place? She also asked if my partner had one and I said no. Presumably she would also earn points. Is it too late for my partner to create a Captain’s Club account and link it to the booking so she can also earn the 50 points? Thanks!

  6. First time (soon to be) cruiser. Just wondering what the narrow gap is on the deck plan when looking at Aqua Class staterooms for Edge Class series of ships? Located between rooms 9305 and 9307, and also between 9302 and 9304. See photo. Also noticed a narrower one between 9317 and 9319, and 9314 and 9316. Does anyone know what this is exactly? I’m wondering if need to avoid it or whatever. Thanks!

  7. We are 2 adults and will be first time cruisers. We are looking at a 10 night Mediterranean cruise in the summer of this year on Celebrity Beyond. We’re from the UK. Interested to hear whether the prices we are looking at are fair as not really looked at cruises in the past, so don’t have much to compare with. Happy to hear from anyone including North American customers to get a general gauge of things.

Essentially the Aqua Class staterooms with the “All Included” drinks/wifi/tips package are coming in currently at the equivalent of £3199 per person. Around $400 on board credit also included with this one.

Similar Concierge Class staterooms are starting at £2737 per person (without “All included”). Again with the $400 on board credit included.

Edge staterooms with Infinite Veranda with similar starting at £2514 per person (without “All included”). Again with the $400 on board credit included.

All are in the “sale” which I understand doesn’t really make that much difference based on things I’ve read.

Does this sound about right for a 10 night cruise on Celebrity Beyond?

    Thank you!

  8. First timers. Planning a cruise and looking at possibly the Aqua Class staterooms of the new Celebrity Edge class series of cruise liners. The Aqua Class rooms all seem to be located from just rear of the middle of the ship all the way back to the rear most part of the ship. The cruise we are looking at is 16 floors and these staterooms are specifically more towards the rear of floors 9 and 10. We’d probably want to go for floor 10 to be a bit higher up which presumably might be better for views. Is there anything we need to be aware of when booking this stateroom, ie is there such a thing as “being too far back”? Is it preferable to be situated further forward asides from the obvious reason of closeness to lifts and stairs? Any noticeable impact on the comfort of the journey, eg noise or motion sickness, etc? Clearly we don’t have a clue! Thanks for your patience!

  9. I’m hoping someone in the U.K. would be able to clarify this if they’ve taken up a similar AMEX cashback offer. My AMEX is currently offering £150 cashback / credit back to statement for single transactions of £1000 or more with Celebrity Cruises. Offer to be used by 31/03/2023 as far as I am aware. I intended on booking a Celebrity Cruise anyway so this would be a nice bonus for me. However, I only planned on paying the inital deposit of £150 per person (ie total £300) to begin with. The total trip cost itself is looking to be around £6500 or so for us both. Is there a way I can make a single payment of the minimum £1000 by the end of March for this trip, in order to qualify for this AMEX Celebrity Cruises cashback offer?

We've been on the Apex, and have booked the Beyond twice (once for 2023 and once for 2024). I've been studiously studying prices for the last couple years for both ships.  We found we enjoyed our Concierge Class cabin on Apex (sister to Beyond with almost identical layout), due to the higher level deck location (12), one flight down from the Solarium. However, the Aqua Class cabins were much higher priced and located on less desirable lower decks (9 & 10) and were nearly identical to regular balcony cabins.

If it were me, I'd book a Sunset Veranda cabin on your sailing, if they are still available. But if Blu dining is a deal breaker for you, I'd still book a nicely located regular IV cabin and plan to use Move Up to move up to an Aqua Class cabin a few weeks prior to sailing. (Currently, for our Mar 19 2023 sailing, our move up offer for SV to Aqua class is only $200 PP, which is much cheaper than the ~ $1500 PP it was when we originally booked last year.

Thanks for that. Interesting to see the option of the sunset veranda for this ship, hadn’t realised that was a choice. We would likely be going for the “All included” option so the sunset veranda along with that package would be an extra £400 ($450) or so each compared with Aqua Class which comes with the “All included option”. I noticed some lines on quite a few of the sunset veranda rooms, does that mean they are interconnecting as we don’t need that? Does that sound about right?

We have stayed on Deck 10 in both Aqua and in a Suite. Both times on the port side and near the rear elevators.

We prefer Deck 10 or 11, not to high as should the ship encounter rough seas the motion is felt more the higher up you go.

We stayed in 10239 when in Aqua and it was far enough from the cabins that jut out that our view wasn’t obstructed.

Thank you. We are looking at the Aqua Class staterooms along that side not far from 10239 (further towards the rear), also to the rear of that bit that juts out. We noticed some of the staterooms are directly opposite interior rooms. I assume the ones on the deck plan which are not opposite the interior rooms are just opposite the interior walls where there is blank space seen on the deck plan? Is there anything noisy on that corridor which isn’t shown on the deckplan, ie no ice machines or anything? Better to be further away from the stairs and elevators due to less footfall going past the room? We’re fairly light sleepers!

  12. Brand new to the forum!

We are a youngish couple looking to book an Aqua Class room on the Celebrity Beyond cruise, the third in the series of their new Edge class ships. I would like to make it clear this will be our first ever cruise holiday, hence looking for some advice on things which might seem relatively simple to those who have cruised a few times. We are currently looking at the Italy/Montenegro/Greece trip (departs from Rome) in mid-August of this year.

We are looking at staying in Aqua Class, and got as far as the stateroom location selection page which brought up a deck plan of the cruise, and it’s obviously vast.

We are looking at whether someone could please offer useful advice on which stateroom locations tend to be best on the Celebrity Beyond and/or the new Edge class of cruise. For the Aqua Class of stateroom, the option is limited to staying either the 9th or 10th floor. I think it’s a 16 floor cruise liner.
Would staying on either the 9th or 10th floor feel the same, or is the higher or lower floor preferable?

I also realised we need to also decide between staying in a stateroom located on either port side or starboard. The particular trip we are looking at heads eastwards initially but is pretty much a loop from what I can see on the itinerary. So I’m guessing it doesn’t really matter between portside or starboard.

    Main questions:

    1) Should we go for or avoid staying in a stateroom located on the same side as the “magic carpet”? I wondered whether that side may possibly be a bit noisier. Or does it not really matter if the Aqua Class staterooms are nearer the rear of the ship anyway?

    2) The Aqua Class staterooms are located towards the rear end of the ship. Is there such a thing as being “too close” to the rear of a cruise ship, ie would it impact on the comfort of the journey? Would it be preferable to select an Aqua Class room more towards the middle, or should it not really make any obvious difference?

    3) We would hope to get some great views from the Infinity veranda in the Aqua Class staterooms. Do we need to avoid staying too close to the mid-section of the ship which I noticed appears has rooms that jut out a bit, as thinking that may impact on the overall field of view when we look out from our room?

    4) If anyone on this forum has been in the Aqua Class staterooms before on Celebrity Beyond, or on any of the other Edge series of Celebrity cruises, do you have any other personal tips for room location?

I think I’m probably overthinking it but keen to avoid making any rookie errors with this being our first cruise.

    Many thanks in advance.
