My first passport was expired more than 10 years, so I had to apply for a new one, not a renewal. I live in Florida, and I can see my passport is being mailed to me from Tucson, AZ. I have been checking the website daily for updates for the past 3 weeks. Applied in person 7/5 Received by US Dept of State 7/7 Approved 8/30 Delivery expected 9/2 (according to USPS Informed Delivery app) 8 1/2 weeks in total and I did standard service. Travel is not until late October.
