  1. I was there last year and we are going again next month.   I really enjoyed it----in one of the "walk in cages" where there are many birds also, one of the workers stayed with me while one jumped onto my shoulder.  It was a beautiful bird, he stayed for quite a whele.  My husband was beaise me and the bird began to peck at the strap on his backpack.  It was funny!!!

  2. This is the first time I am going to be on Norwegian. I have been on other cruise lines. Does anyone know about the coffee shop? Perhaps a menu? Are there sweets to go with the coffee? Is there a charge? :o

  3. Rosa di Trianna tapas restaurant. You can order a variety of little Puerto Rican dishes and sip some sangria in this quaint little restaurant that was once a jail. It's across from the catedral

how far is this from the cruise port? One of us can not walk very far. Are there taxis if necessary?

  4. We did last year through the ship. The scenery was beautiful. We did short stops several times. We also stopped at a restaurant where they had a nice buffet lunch, and a few shops. We also saw several waterfalls and learned about the island, the history and the different climates of the island. This is a long tour, it took almost all day. It was enjoyable.

  5. I loved it here---we rode on a speed boat, it took about 1/2 hour. It was a little bumpy but after getting used to it it was fun! The staff on the boat were wonderful so friendly and talkative. They even had water for us. The island is about the size of a football field if that.

The water was beautiful. After we got all settled, they took those who wanted to snorkel out in the boat. There was a huge coral reef and lots of fish. They had lunch, a BBQ and rum punch, and water. You could buy pop if you wanted. The island and the water were just perfect. If you go there expecting a lot to do you will be disappointed It is just relaxation. We booked another cruise that had the same destination. We booked far ahead-and they changed the itentary. It does not stop in Belize. We still are going on the cruise, maybe we will find something new to do!

  6. How do they work???? Do you hav

e to have an Aqua room to use them?? Is there a way to use if not in Aqua class? If I am remembering correctly you can get a day pass, is that correct? If so how much do they cost?

  7. I was on another cruise line and their drink package included gourmet coffee as well as the drinks. I enjoyed different types of coffee as well as drinks in the evening and by the pool. We always had wine with dinner too. I wish Carnival would include coffee in their package!

  8. We like Nassau, very walkable and some neat historical things to see, they have a fort, there is Victoris's stairs, the straw market ( but you will be bugged here) and the pirate museum is cool.

When you say Walkable what do you mean?? I sometimes have some back problems and cant walk really far. Is it only a few blocks or is it a few miles?

Thanks= trying to decide if we want to try to walk or if we should get transportation. We would like to see some of the history, did you feel safe there? It would be 3 women.

    Thanks again

  9. Natchi com..been there 2 times love it. Included is lunch, all you can drink. Nice pool and hot tub. Wonderful beach lots of hammocks lounge chairs under shade. But if you are looking for something more active this is not the place. There are no water toys or games, just a nice beach and good food!

  10. Having cruised o n the pride 2 times I fell in love with the piano bar. We have another cruise on the Pride in Oct. of this year. Does anyone know who isd playing in the piano bar in Oct??? Thanks in advace

  11. We were on this cruise also. This was our 4th cruise on X and had a wonderful time. We really enjoyed our dinner in Quisine.. It was the first time we dined there and at first were confused, but it was so different it was really great. I agree with the OP that the entertainment was great. The one thing that bothered me was the rudeness of some of the passangers. Two of them I ran into (different days) treated the staff with no respect demanding things that werent really their job to do, removing a piece of skin from a chicken breast , leaving a towel and book on the lounge chair in the solarium for two hours and when returning ordering a bar waiter to remove the used plate that had been left on the corner of the wood seperating the loungers. She was very rude. This is just 2 examples. I really feel these employees give us the best service they can and their reaction to this type of passanger is up and beyond they always smile and go on.

  12. I think it depends of what you want to do on your cruise.I go on carnival with a bunch of girls. We can act silly and have a blast doing it. There's always something going on and tons of places to go late into the night! Now for Celebrity I go with my husband.. Slower paced, more "mature" passengers, more refined. Not that we get bored, we totaly relax, spend time together the Summit has a wonderful "T" pool for adults where the warm water "waves" Its kinda like a huge hot tub--just wonderful. The food is good It all depends of what you want. There is entertainment and dancing I dont mean to make it sound like it's boring its just not the neon party boat like carnival .
