After our canal cruise, we headed back to the apartment and joined up with the rest of our group. We had dinner in that night and then we ventured out to do a tour of the red-light district. We had purchased the tour and were led through the district by an actual worker. They give you a different perspective of this area and how things truly function. It was insightful and unique. And if you are curious, we were advised the average guy is inside those little rooms for 6 minutes....

Part of the Red Light district...they do not want you taking photos so I only have shots of the general area.. You will have to visit to see the rest....

After our red light district tour, we headed back to the apartment to pack up....in the morning we had a boat to catch!!!!

HELLO, I am very much enjoying your wonderfully narrative on your trip. We are taking this cruise in July and we're started doing some research. If you are still monitoring this posting, can you tell me how you came to get the "red light district tour" tickets?

  2. We are considering traveling on Princess, Crown Princess for the first time.

We've cruised a lot before on other lines, but not on Princess!

I've enjoyed reading all the information.

I'm wondering if Princess allows you to bring water, soda or wine onboard?

    Thanks to whomever can reply!

  3. I like the lanyard because I loop it around the handle of my purse/deck bag and then hang it down inside my purse......that way, when I need it, I just pull on the lanyard and I don't have to fumble with it being at the bottom of the bag and I don't have to get my wallet out

  4. dr1ce........you said that there was a link to your photos of the beach, but I don't see a hyperlink or URL......am I missing something? I'd love to see the pics.....we'll be in Tortola in March and are looking for a good beach.

  5. This is our little list.

Of course this does not include the real essentials.

    1. Duct tape (I know not everyone has needed it but we have)

    2. Money, money & more money.

    3. Appetite (can you really pack that?)

    4. Over the door shoe thingy (again we find them handy, not for everyone)

    5. Comfortable shoes. IE walking, sandals, dress, etc..

Okay - so, what's with the duct tape? I haven't taken it before.
