We have just completed our Princess cruise - my husband's first and my second, but both having done the same amount with P&O - and when the booking was confirmed, husband was elite whilst I was gold.  I have just made a booking with Princess Cruises for 2026 and whilst speaking to my Personal Cruise Specialist (!) mentioned the discrepancy.  He said he would speak to Captains Circle and lo and behold I received an email today saying that my loyalty status has been amended to Elite and he would send a revised confirmation reflecting this!!

     

    I was very pleasantly surprised.

  2. Had an email from Zac in customer services to say that my shares have been validated and I can now go on the app and redeem my OBC.

     

    He even included some step-by-step instructions on how to do this.

     

    Unfortunately when I get to the step that says "press the green redeem button at the bottom", the redeem button is not green but grey and nothing happens, so although I have made some progress, I'm still not there yet!

     

    Think I might have to go back to Zac.

  3. I have just applied for OBC for an upcoming Princess cruise via Stockperks.  I uploaded a copy of my share certificate (dated 3 October 2022) and received the following message: "Unfortunately we had to reject your submission because it was too old."

     

    It goes on to advise that I should upload recent images of my documentation from the last 3 months showing my name, my brokerage name, date of the documentation and the number of shares.

     

    I have no idea what to do now as I only have the share certificate and do not have a broker.

     

    Any advice on how to proceed from here folks?

  4. We were on in July and even though I pressed the button it didn't work!  I suppose I could have asked at the Spa or guest services, but it wasn't working the last time before that we were on her either. (pre-pandemic).

    (Other passengers I spoke to had absolutely no idea there was, or even had been, such a thing!)

  5. I have an entirely different question for Hallsam.

     

    We will be in Copenhagen for 1 day next May (on a cruise ship), and are planning on seeing a friend whom I haven't seen for several years who lives in Malmo. What is the best way to get there please.

  6. We've done several cruises with P&O but are cruising with Princess next May - my second with them and my husband's first - he is showing as Elite and I am Gold!  Another glitch I think but we' ll take the Elite benefits!

  7. We've always self-disembarked and when we receive all the blurb in the cabin about putting cases out and giving us a time for disembarking, I usually go down to reception and inform them that we would like to self-disembark.  They sometimes make a note - usually on a scrap of paper!

    After breakfast in the MDR, we go back to the cabin, grab the suitcases and go.  The worst part is usually getting a lift!

We are in exactly the same situation.  We only register one credit card at check-in, use both cards until all the OBC is used up and then use my card only to get the 10% discount on everything.  As Molecrochip stated priority embarkation, embarkation lunch and Peninsular party will cover both people in the cabin.
