We'll be on that same cruise. Although we don't know anything about the ports of call, we call New Orleans home and have boarded the ships at New Orleans. If you have any questions about New Orleans, please let me know.:)

now she is. Fog scares the daylights out of me. She departed late and I am monitoring her progress. Looks like it is slow.

Dream is enveloped in fog this afternoon. Wondering if they will be able to depart on time.:(

Was so outdone this past cruise. Matre'd allowed a young woman (about 19-22) in the MDR on elegant night wearing shorts that would have made Daisy Duke blush. Carnival should be updated that this is not anyone's idea of elegant. Why can't they have the dress code put out at the entrance to MDR and enforce it.

They should donate a whole cruise to disadvantaged inner city folks for a big holiday promotion! Then everyone would love Carnival! :) Plus it would feel good! :p
Carnival was more than generous after Katrina. They provided a ship for first responders, police, fire and city employees. They also provided meals. THEY DID NOT HAVE TO DO THAT!!!:(

Saw that there was a change in the Dream port. Today they were in Cayman and not Belize. Any guess why ? Will ours be changed?

I always love to hear from visitors that they love my beautiful city. We sail Thanksgiving week with DD,SIL, beautiful grandchildren and lots of great memories to make.:D

Lol, he might if I beg & plead. Especially of he can wear khakis & a polo shirt. I thought it needed to be more formal. In his defense, he did wear his dress blues on our first cruise. Nobody else was in dress uniform so he felt over dressed.[/quote
I'll bet the women were swooning and the men were green with envy. Thank him for his service. (Can he still fit into his dress uniform)

Since our grandkids will be traveling with us and they are young ( 8 and 7 ) we will decorate for Thanksgiving.:D

::Daughter and son-in-law are both trying to quit smoking. Are E-Cigs considered smoking as it pertains to cabins and public spaces. Thank you .:D

Would like your input about the windows on the lower level of the Dream. Can my 7 and 8 year old grandchildren sit in the window and watch the ocean?
This is their first cruise and I want it to be memorable. Yes, I know balcony would let them see everything but did not want to spend all that money. We have adjoining cabins and I intend to use my OBC for treats for them.

Your daughter will certainly enjoy it. My daughter (almost 15 at the time) insisted we dress for tea and it was a wonderful experience. In November we will be taking the same daughter (now 28 and the mom of 2)along with the kids(7 and 8) and her husband. We can't wait.
