We did this tour our very first time in Labadee. They take you on a boat to a small area where they take you to four different stops to show you a little bit of village life, however, I don't believe it's actually authentic. There were a few high pressure sales areas to be expected but overall not too bad. Then the time spent in the cove was just ok for us. It was definitely much quieter because only the tour group was there but the water is the same water on the main area. The next three times we went we only did the zip line. We typically would rather explore than just lay on a beach the entire day but we've learned that on Labadee it's better to just do that!

Only been on one NCL cruise and four RCL but much prefer RCL; found NCL almost inedible. However, I don't eat in the dining room on RCL, primarily specialty but also go to the buffet at least once or twice.

There should be! There was a photographer in June on Anthem. You're not allowed to bring your own camera inside the chamber though so husband and I took turns waiting outside to take pictures of each other and swapped halfway though.

If you're interested in buying it anyway, buy it now and if the price happens to drop you can cancel it and rebook it at the lower price!

We were in Labadee a few weeks ago and wanted to parasail but it was sold out. Then a few days later we saw the report of the line snapping on a parasailling tour elsewhere! We were a bit relieved that we didn't go (even though it wasn't the same location) but are wondering if it's any safer doing it in Labadee since it's RCCLs private island or if parasailing is too risky regardless of where you do it! I'm sure we'll make it to Labadee or Coco Cay someday soon and would want to book in advance this time!

We were there a few weeks ago and noticed that they were writing all drink purchases on 8x11 sheets of paper and the charges showed up either that day or the next day in our folio as "island sales" I believe. It didn't matter to us because we had the package so they all came through as $0 but if you're purchasing without the package it might be worth it to keep track of how many and what drink you get!

I watched that and it explains why the lobster tails are rubber and how in general the food has deteriorated on all lines as the ship grew in size.
I live in Maine so obviously knew the lobster was bad (rubbery, bland), but it's frozen and already cut to just tails! Didn't realize it until I watched this but I guess it makes sense. People seem to love it though. I only wish they could taste fresh Maine lobster. It'd change their life. ;p;p
I was on Anthem two weeks ago and kept seeing "Maine lobster" available for an extra (rather reasonable and under market price) charge but couldn't make myself do it. I wonder if it would've been the same as MDR lobster night or if it truly would've been A Maine lobster!

Not mandatory but they didn't retake either of our photos and the ones we used were supposedly in the "no" column (wasn't just a plain white background). Probably only sped things up by seconds but it felt good not to have to do it when we were checking in!

Sailing on Anthem in June and was wondering if it was possible to buy a bottle of hard liquor at a bar and have it available just for me similar to the wine bottle service. We usually pick one bar and make it ours all week so I'm not worried about it having to travel to wherever we are.
I know it will be at upcharged prices and I know I could just buy a drink package but that isn't what I want to know about. I also don't want the room service bottle option as they don't have the liquor I want (Grey Goose) and I also don't want it in the room.
Thanks in advance!

I know that title sounds silly but I'm wondering which area has the warmest water area! Last June I got goosebumps in the water so I'm hoping there's somewhere that gets a bit warmer...

Prices can vary slightly from ship to ship. Roughly - beer $6-8; basic mixed drinks $8-10; blender drinks $10-14; wine by the glass $10 and up. Can of soda $3-4. Bottle of water $3.
Not sure about specific brands of drinks.
There is an automatic 18% gratuity added to these prices.
Packages have a limit of $12. If you order a $14 drink you pay $2 plus gratuity.
Hope that helps.
It does help - thank you!

About how much are individual basic alcoholic drinks (Grey Goose and soda, Crown Royal, etc). Trying to compare drink packages/drink card to just buying individually.
Also, how much are individual sodas per cup (compared to the $8.50/day package)?
Thanks!

Dunns River Falls was amazing and definitely something to check out at least once. If you're lucky you'll have this tour first and the tubing after. We were lucky and got right in with no wait time and had more time to actually enjoy the falls than those who did tubing first.
Tubing was not at all relaxing to us! We wanted a nice relaxing trip but it was more adventure filled. Still fun though. Oh and the water was cold! The guide kept calling it "refreshing" :'):'):')

We always choose the top deck of cabins and have always been happy. However, we have 13244 on Anthem in June and are worried about the overhang that I keep hearing about.

Thank you! I read your review and it was very helpful. I'm a bit turned off about the shopping aspect as we wouldn't want to do that. Is there a beach or anything nearby that we can do to just relax until the ferry returns or is it literally just a shopping area?

Would love some feedback from anyone who has been on this excursion! My husband and I are thinking of doing this but haven't found many reviews on it at all.

Any idea if you can get straight whiskey or whiskey on the rocks with the drink package? My husband doesn't usually drink mixed drinks but he does enjoy just a glass of whiskey to sip.

I'll keep an eye out and ask. Will be on tomorrow.

Thank you so much!! Have a great trip!

Would like to hear from any recent cruisers if Truly Spiked and Sparkling is available on board Harmony of the Seas yet? Other brands: Spiked Seltzer, White Claw... We're sailing in June and would love to see Truly Spiked seltzer on the ship; such a refreshing summer drink!

My passport with my married last name did not arrive in time (sent it in 6 weeks out...) so I used my birth certificate and driver's license but I DID need my marriage license as well to use as the bridging document. Mine was a certified copy, but I'm not sure she actually looked for the raised seal. I'd definitely bring it just in case!

I'm debating between going with the Royal Replenish drink package which includes premium coffee, premium tea, water, OJ, and soda or just the soda package. I'm wondering what the premium coffee actually is; does anyone know? Coffee is still available in the dining rooms and restaurants, correct? And it's my understanding that Starbucks is not the premium coffee I'd be paying for, so what is it?
We're sailing next Sunday on Allure of the Seas if that matters...

Can anyone recommend an island tour of either Saint Thomas or Saint John? We're doing Bernard's Tours in Saint Maarten and was hoping for something similar to that for this island, too (a couple of local "not to miss" spots along with some beach time and maybe some local shopping time). I haven't found anything promising yet, but I'm hoping someone here can help!

There won't be anywhere to just walk around other than on the main beach and that is simply a beach with a few amenities, nothing cultural.
