Can someone let me know if this is something I can book on the website in advance or do I do it when we get on the ship?

Its worth it for the experience itself, but the food for me wasn't spectacular by any means.

I'm going on my 19th cruise (15 with Carnival) this Thursday, 7/27 on Carnival Luminosa. I have 2 firsts happening (first Alaskan cruise and for the first time, I will doing Chef's Table). Is Chef's table generally held on Elegant Night or does anyone have any history with this? And what is the suggested dress code for Chef's Table if it is not on an elegant night. Thanks.
Not held on the formal nights, I remember it being scheduled on the 6th day of the cruise to Alaska. Former and casual ettire is ok either or.

Seriously? I thought that Carnival was child friendly?
How can we appropriately feed our baby in this case?
I would probably bring your own baby food and formula just in case.

Frequent Royal (Diamond) cruiser, trying Carnival again for the first time in 20 years, I have a solo cruise booked on Venezia next year. I was looking at the shore excursions and found a couple I may consider (am looking at booking on my own too). Does Carnival ever have a sale on their excursions? e.g. Royal has their Black Friday and other sales, so I'm used to playing the book/cancel/repeat game with them whenever the price changes. I searched and the last post I found on this was ten years ago. Anyone?
No it doesn't, but you can typically find it cheaper booking through a third party local excursion company at the destination.

So i booked my spa service using this promo code and called in to see if i could change the date and time without canceling and to my suprise. Later on, i found out that the representative had cancelled it, and it's only a one-time use promo. Now im screwed and they said there nothing they can do about it and are saying its my fault. SO thanks for the great customer service Carnival, you really know how to take care of your customers!

We are traveling with extended family and a 1 year old and 2.5 year old. Any suggestions you can give us to make the trip easier would be appreciated. How did you get milk for bottles? The 2.5 year old will not be sleeping in a crib. Any suggestions in keeping him in the sofa bed? Assume the dining room will help with getting the food they like to eat (veggie, fruit, soft meats, pastas). I'm sure there are many things we are not even thinking about. Appreciate your help. We will be on the Horizon in August.
They will have fat reduced milk at the buffet, and make sure to bring tylenol and motrin just in case of any illness.

Hello everyone. I am looking for people who have had recent experience with renting a clamshell on Half Moon Cay please. In the past our family had rented a villa and a cabana several times, but Carnival has priced those out of our budget now. We have a member of our party that needs to be in the shade when possible. I have heard mixed options regarding the clamshell. We are looking at pretty far down the beach between cabana number 10 and the fourth villa as you approach from the pirate ship area.
we had tried one time to put chairs under a tree but found that ants were an issue.
we will be platinum on this cruise so we hope to be off the ship on the first tender. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts. Thank youTrust me, rent yourself one if you need to be in the shade because its 100% better than just sitting out in the direct sun unless you are in a cabana or villa. Do yourself a favor before you regret it and they will sell out quick.

I am unable to get in touch with our travel agent with whom we booked a Carnival cruise. I need to make some changes to our passengers and tried calling Carnival directly. Carnival said I cannot make any changes and that I must go through my travel agent.
What can be done? FWIW, the Travel Agent was extremely responsive when booking the cruise but now only responds every 2 weeks at best (I am currently ghosted).
Thank you.
Isnt that funny how that works, sorry i wish i had better news for you.

Which excursions is everyone taking?
I’m whale watching Juneau. My son hiking.Adventure Kart Expedition in Ketchikan
Tracy Arm Fjord Glacier Explorer
We are still debating in Skagway.Juneau- shoreside salmon fishing
Ketchikan- wild crab fishing and crab feast
Not sure about booking one for skagway or Victoria yet.
I was thinking maybe ziplining in grizzly falls in skagway looks interesting but no one in my group wants to go with me lol.
Im also booked for both the steakhouse, Chefs table, and a 100 minute deep tissue massage. Taking full advantage because we wont have the kids with us this time!

Do you recommend booking a spa service before or after getting onboard? Do they offer better deals after you get on the ship or only for pre reservation?

Can I do this through the carnivalhub app once aboard?
