  1. My husband recently reached out to ask if he could take his Sgian Dubh onboard as it’s part of his kilt outfit. He has a plastic bladed one which can be used for travel. A photo of it was supplied. The request was passed on to the security officer onboard Millenium who replied with an emphatic NO! You’d be hard pressed to cut through butter with the plastic bladed sgian dubh as it’s purely for decoration, but it’s still not allowed.

    Driver arrived 18.40 on site.

Friendly driver, clean car and everything was 👍🏻

The drive from the airport to our hotel was 35.minutes.

It’s Greek 🇬🇷 Easter 🐣 So it’s public holiday and very quiet. (No traffic)

All stores and museums etc are closed.

We stay at a 3* hotel, Athens Center hotel Square. It’s very central.

    Friendly staff during check in.

    Decent sized room and view🤩

I wish we had had more time in Yokohama, we spent only 1 night at the Hyatt Regency. We did visit Chinatown, only a couple of blocks from the hotel, and had a great dinner there. There is quite a large Chinese population in Yokohama, and Chinese food is very popular. Who knew?
We got a great rate at the Hyatt, and we really liked the hotel. We were so close to the terminal we just walked a few blocks. Even with our not small suitcases, it only took about 10 minutes, but the weather was good. If I ever get back to Japan, and I really, really want to return, I think we’d spend a few days in Yokohama.

    Your pictures are great!

We have the Hyatt booked for a night post cruise in October. Glad to hear it’s walkable! 😊

  4. I’m sorry too - what a stressful experience. For those in a similar situation, as Megabear2 has said, there is a questionnaire on  the  website now. Log in to your booking, select Before you sail, then scroll across to Onboard needs.
    The website states:

This form should be completed by all guests who:

    • May require assistance with embarkation, disembarkation, or in an unlikely case of emergency evacuation
    • Have any medical needs that may require special accommodation
    • Will be bringing medical equipment or mobility devices on board
    • Have been advised by their travel insurance or doctor to declare their needs to us

  5. We did it in LA as it was cheaper than an Uber direct to the airport! Saw a bit of the city and didn’t have to worry about what to do with our luggage for the day. Our suitcases were in the hold of the bus, and we left jackets and bigger backpacks on our seats at each stop. Took passports etc with us at each stop. Would do again without hesitation.

I'm a tad confused. For our upcoming May 13 cruise on Connie, the cost on the website at the moment for 2-device premium wi-fi is $34.99 per guest per day. This price is being shown as a 20% pre-cruise savings, with the regular on-board price being $44.19.

But right now, the cost for Premium Access is $22.99 per guest per day (10% savings). And unless I'm misreading the details, that package includes 2-device premium wi-fi.

Doesn't this mean that, even if we have zero use for the other perks in the Premium Access package, we might as well buy it to get the wi-fi we want at a cheaper price? Seems like a no-brainer to me.

    Thanks for all replies.

This is exactly why I bought it. It was cheaper than the premium wifi upgrade for 2 people.

I purchased the Premium Access when it was on sale. It is listed as ‘reserved’ on packages when I log in, but it is not on my cruise docs or luggage tags. Since priority luggage and priority boarding are some of the perks, shouldn’t it be listed somewhere? Our cruise is only a few days away. TIA

On my xpress pass for an upcoming cruise, there is a key symbol shown. I have purchased Premium Access, so I’m assuming this is the symbol for it. I know someone else on the cruise who didn’t purchase the premium access, and they have no key symbol. Happy to be corrected!

I have contacted Celebrity Cruises Captains Club about the missing points.

    This is their reply:

Hi Jackie, the points should show up at some point today for eligible members. I will check again tomorrow morning. If it's not been allocated then I will email the team.

Hi - did you use a UK contact? Not sure there is one, but I have an issue with my husband’s tier not showing correctly on his express pass .Thanks

As a gesture of understanding they will be giving an OBC according to room type

A nice gesture. And I think the wording hits the right tone. However….. I do think that the same OBC should be offered to everyone regardless of cabin. Everyone has had the same inconvenience and disappointment whether in an inside room or top suite. Just my thoughts!

We ended up in Lufthansa Lounge at LHR.

They are early open and have everything we needed for a little rest and freshen up.

Large selection of drinks, snacks and food.

We had a uneventful stay before it was time to go for our flight home to Oslo Norway 🇳🇴

Flight is SK804 SAS (home to Scandinavian service💙🇳🇴)

Flight is operated on a A320.

2 classes SAS Plus or SAS Go.
    IMG_3478.thumb.jpeg.1278fbb8dc3193daf00839c82eff3d12.jpeg

We Are seated on SAS Go 18EF.

Flight was 85% full. No empty seat for us😜 ( I was hoping for the best😜)

    Flight time 1h 55.minutes

Bags are loaded, we saw them arrive and be loaded onto our aircraft.

And my AirTag said they were in same area as us🙌🏻

    SALE 🚨Young adult 18-20ish For Sale🥴😳

Just before take off, I was like what is this smell? It’s like old socks 🧦🥴

Yep, a nasty smell of old socks….

    IMG_3483.thumb.jpeg.717d22c9f3bc967fbb923184d543abe7.jpeg

Behind me was this “lovely” lady…. If my eyes could have burned her…. 👻 She would be on fire 🔥. She obviously didn’t see the problem🫠😵‍💫

So the socks and foot continued to be on my armrest all the way to OSL🫡

Coffee and tea for free in SAS Go.

Mr was sleeping all the way. I was off/on.

The seat “child” behind me was pushing and moving around. So it was just as having a little aggressive toddler behind me🫣🤭😳

We landed ahead of time in OSL…. It has to be a catch🤭😝

Yes, parking on domestic part of the airport and bus to non-Schengen for passport control 🛂

    That takes time..

Our bags were on the belt when we reached the arrival area.

Both made it to Oslo. (Not in 2 pieces)

So we needed to add a little detour to SAS arrival service for a pir report and a voucher for a new suitcase 🧳🤪

Remember last Easter 🐣? Then one was damaged….

Well, I got a new suitcase from the American Tourister from SAS.

This suitcase was on Edge in the autumn.. That’s when we discovered that the zipper was not working properly and could only be dragged in on direction, otherwise it would be opened automatically😳😖

Well, my bag was wrapped in plastic and made it home safely.

It went straight into service/ guarantee by Samsonite service centre in Norway.

The zipper was changed to a new one and it was all good again….

Then I had a visit to Svalbard last week of February. This time the pins for lockers were just broken/slammed into pieces😖😖😖

Again, off to Samsonite Service Center for new pins to the lock and to take out the broken pins stuck into the lock🫥

    Third time charm right?

    Game over😜🤣🤣🤣

It’s a big hole crack crawling diagonal over  my suitcase 🧳…. Sorry, can’t fix it🤪🤪

So again a new suitcase. 3 heavy duty trips, all ended in need for service🥸

This was the Murphy edition😂 I took it for the team🥰🙌🏻

    Those feet!! How rude 😤
