  1. Hi. So excited to be going on Equinox in March. There’s not much info on the cabanas. I did rent one for a Port day. I found older info on the cabanas but nothing fairly new. Anyone have any experience to share? What do they include? Thanks for your time. :  )

  2. Hello everyone. I could use some help in choosing a cabin for a cruise next March on the Regal. It will be 3 adults. I have been on other princess ships before, but never the Regal. I am taking my sis who has never been on a cruise. I'm looking at cabin L 103 or 104 Deluxe balcony ( huge balcony) on front of ship. Or maybe L210 a mini suite. There are 3 adults. The deluxe balcony is about $600 cheaper than the mini suit and it does have a pull out sofa bed. But also looking at mini suite for a little more cabin room. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all!

  3. Hello! I already have a cruise booked for next November. 10 day out of Brooklyn. Ends in Fort Lauderdale. I've chosen a balcony cabin forward on the Lido. I love the lido. For a little more money there is a balcony cabin #301 on lido. The balcony looks larger and angled. I know the balcony I already booked is very small. Does any one have input to this balcony? The first 3 days are sea days. In November just wondering if I will be able to use the balcony. When do you arrive in somewhat warmer weather? Thanks for any information.

  4. Hello. Where do you book the bve ? Is it under excursions? My cruise isnt until Nov 2018. So I am unable to look at excursions. Any help would be appreciated. Do you board earlier with your guests if you book BVE? Thanks!!

  5. Hello everyone! I just booked a cruise on Regal for next November out of NY. I've been on crown and Caribbean princess. Loved those ships. I booked cabin 128 on lido. It's a balcony cabin, forward. Does anyone have any experience with this cabin? Does the skywalk go right over the balcony? Is it windy being forward on the ship? ( Ive only been mid ship before) Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!

  6. Yes, Alamo has a free shuttle to the cruise terminal. They also pick you up, right out front of the cruise terminal & bring you back to the rental car agency. No charge. Check your rental car prices everyday, the price changes constantly. You don't have to pay when you book, so you can cancel & rebook if the price goes down. Have a great trip!!

  7. I rented the car ahead of time - online through Alamo. Check the prices every day, it was originally $59 but dropped to $15.95 right before sailing. I just cancelled & rebooked. The Havana bar had a small set up everyday. Beef empanadas, pork buns. Cuban pastries. Cucina has pasta that you order for lunch & jiji wok. No charge at lunch time. They are located in the Havana bar area. Very quiet back there. Favorite spot for lunch.

  8. Ports of call: half moon cay, loved this island. Would have stayed there all week. Rented a cabana, took first tender over. Best $229 spent. Floated around all day. Had a few drinks at the pirate bar and ate the barbecue lunch

Nassau- Got a day pass at the Hilton $120. ($80 credit for food & drinks) stayed most of the day. Very relaxing. Walked to the tiki/bikini shack for a few drinks.

Freeport- shopped around the little shops at the terminal. Went back on ship early & used the water slides all day. ( no one there)

    Loved the sunshine!!

  9. Hello all. My husband and I went on the sunshine for our 30th anniversary. LOVED the ship. We flew into Orlando the day before, rented a car at the airport ($16.95) and stayed at the residence inn at the port. Nice hotel very nice people. We dropped the car off the night before & car rental place brought us right to the hotel. We signed up for the shuttle to the cruise terminal. The morning of cruise the shuttle company sent a small shuttle, it was completely full. We waited for the next shuttle, no sign of it. We decided to call a taxi, they came right away. We purchased faster to the fun, best $50 spent. Checked in at terminal, waited about 20 min & were on the ship by 11:30.

We went right to the excursion desk, picked cabana #11 for half moon cay. Went to our cabin. ( deck 8 balcony) and right to guys burgers. Loved that place. Ate a burger almost ever day. Everyone on these boards told me about the Havana bar area. Loved this area of the ship. Was never crowded. Beautiful view. Really good Cuban food at lunch. Also ate there for the pasta bar & wok Station ( free at lunch) the buffet is ok. Some food very good, some just ok. The pizza station & deli were very very good. We didn't do any specialty dining, so I can it comment on that. We had anytime dining, only had to wait 20 minutes on formal night. Every other night no wait at all. We usually went to the dining room around 7:30 . Dining room food was overall pretty good. Prime rib excellent, Indian vegetarian excellent. My husband had fish 2 nights, way over cooked & dry. But plenty of other options to choose from. I really thought this ship had a great selection of places to eat.

Serenity deck was awesome! Loved this area. And there were always chairs to be found somewhere on this ship. Maybe not right in front of the pool or serenity, but other decks. On our only sea day, the ship seemed a little crowded , but not any more so than any other ship. We had a great time, loved loved loved the ship & staff I would definitely sail the sunshine again. Never made it to the comedy club. But went to watch karioke, used the water slides ( which were awesome) and saw Styx concert Any questions, I would be happy to answer Sail the sunshine!! You will love it

  10. I ordered the 12 pack of water when I originally read this post the other day. My credit card was charged $3.18 with tax. Now today I just checked, my credit card was credited -3.18. I guess they realized the water mistake. So, don't think they will delivering any water. They charged me a few days ago, and credited me today. 😞

  11. Hello all. We currently have a balcony cabin on the sunshine. Category 8C. It's a 5 day cruise. Carnival just called and offered to "upgrade" us to an OS suite on the 7th deck ( I checked, they have quite a few suites available) The price was $550 total. I turned down the offer. Has anyone had any experience with these upsell calls? Can you make a deal & offer less? Has anyone done so? Thanks for any input!

  12. Maybe someone can help. I am sailing on the sunshine in June. I currently have an inside cabin ( spa cabin on deck 11). There's a sale going on, I can get a guarantee balcony cabin for the same price. Are there very many obstructed view balcony cabins on the sunshine? Any help would be much appreciated. Would you switch?? Thanks...,
