I think a reusable bag would be nice.

Now that Pepsi is the brand of soda on the ships I am thinking of getting a soda card. I have always carried on my drinks on past cruises. I only drink a couple of Dt. Dews a day though. How much is it to pay for one soda? Trying to figure out the best way to go. Thanks

No they do not do any makeup services. They offer facials, manicures, pedicures etc. and they will do your hair for you for formal nights.

If you were thinking of buying Vanilla in the Caribbean or Mexico please read this link or do some searching on your own. I am not a professional baker but I love to bake. I am picky about my ingredients so I know a little bit about vanilla. I would never ever use any of the stuff that they sell in Mexico or the Caribbean.

Pretty sure the main dining room and the theater serve as polar bear playgrounds when not in use. That’s the only explanation for why they keep them at such freezing cold temperatures all the time on every ship I’ve ever been on! I definitely recommend bringing a sweater or light shrug.

I love to decorate my door! Here is the decoration I made for our conquest cruise coming up in nine days! I have always used Blue painters tape. Nine cruises down and never had a single issue.

This is the actual recipe from carnival that I received when doing a behind-the-scenes tour(Sidenote excellent tour if you’ve never done it) you must use a very good dark chocolate and use extra fine baking sugar. I use ramekins just like in the picture. Comes out perfect every time. I have family that begs me to make this for special occasions.

I have had quite a few spa services on several different ships. Every one of them has been wonderful. Yes at the end of them you do get a sales pitch but I have never had what you would call a “hard sell”. I think if you are nice and just say no thanks that’s all there is to it. I love going to the spa it is one of the highlights of my cruise. I have three spa treatments pre-booked for my upcoming cruise in September and I cannot wait! And yes one of them is a facial[emoji138]

Please please please just buy your vanilla from Costco. You can trust how it is made if you buy it there not so much from the cruise ports.

If you book before you get on the ship you can get up to 30% off on your spa treatments. You must book three treatments. You get 10% off the first then 20% off the second and 30% the third. I saved over $100 on my spa treatments booking them this way. Also you are sure to get the times you want if you book before you sail. The good time slots fill up fast.

Well as a person who decorates her door I can tell you that I do it because it is fun!! I can find my door just fine with out decorations but it always makes me smile when I see my door all done up. I am a paper artist and I love making something special for each cruise. Cruises are different from other types of vacations. I think we get a bit attached to our home away from home and decorating the door is just one way some of us choose to express our selfs and to have fun on our vacation.

I need some input from some of you wonderful people that have gone to a carnival live concert. we are booked on the Breeze February 26-March 5th. We stop in Nassau on the 2nd were there is a Tim McGraw concert from 8 to 10. We also want to go to Atlantis but I don't want to be way at the back for the concert. Are both doable on the same day? We are both 54 but in good ( not great [emoji3]) shape. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hubby and I are sitting in the airport waiting to board the plane that will take us to the Glory!!! We have to fly across the country to do it so it will be a long day but so worth it when we step on the ship tomorrow!

PortSideCruzan, you have been very lucky then. I have tried to being back sand several times and always had it taken away. Maybe I have just had bad luck. Maybe if it was just loose in the bottom of the bag it would get through?

Thank you all for the wonderful ideas. I like the idea of getting a rental car and just driving around, having a nice lunch and seeing some of Miami be for we leave.

You could go visit my Mother-In-Law in Boca so I don't have to?
mapsmith Only if your will to do equal time with my mother in law!

Sorry OP but titles like this really bug me.
Well "Help me pick a Tour" just did not drum up any excitement for this ol gal. So, sorry that I have a since of humor!:D

I dream of a B2B but the OTHER powers that be won't let DH take two weeks of vacation together at one time. They tell him he is to valuable.

When our 7 wonderful days or over, the Carnival "Gods" are going to kick us off the Glory next month I just KNOW it!! They have done it before!!! I can't seem to find a good place to hide so I just know they will do it again. Bummer is we will have a very long wait for our flight. 5PM from Miami Airport. I don't really want to spend all day in the airport.:rolleyes:the Carnival excursions don't seem to get very good reviews. (We did the Everglade one in the past, that was fun) Do any of you have any other good ideas on how to spend the time? Keep in mind we will have our luggage... Thanks for any ideas!

I just got a call today, 39 days out from my October 10 cruise on the glory. They wanted $660 to upgrade me from about any to a suite. I turned it down I thought it was too much. This is the only upsell call I have ever gotten in seven cruises.

40, and I really really really want to start packing my bag!

Just a note about YTD. We have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table.
