  1.  Please, could someone who's recently been on a 7 day Seashore sailing please answer...Haven't been on a 7 day MSC in a while, just 4 day sailings. Used to have a theme night,2 elegant nights and a white night.  Now is it down to just 1 elegant, and the white night and no theme night? Sailing in August, and just wondering.

  2. Wondering if anyone knows..I've been to Passion Island several times.Once by TWISTER BOAT, and other times by Catamaran and ferry.  I don't see any excursions by MSC to include Passion Island except  by Twister.  Don't want to do that again.. I'm sure the other times I went there was with MSC, as usual

    MSC agents have no idea.

  3. Funny , we were booked on the 3/17/24 cruise on the seashore, and changed it to 2/4/24.. Spring break in the state of Florida where a lot of cruisers are from is the week of 3/17/24.. I was on the Meraviglia, this year during that week and yes there were a LOT of kids.  Not a big deal, and it was great since I had my grandson with me and he had a blast, and met  many new friends. I've been to Belize many times and the ship doesn't really have great shore excursions for Belize (used have many tiny islands and snorkeling trips, and so didn't mind skipping), and Nassau at least 15 times is enough..  Ocean Cay, MSC's private island is stunning, been there 4 times, love spending 2 days there.  Just my opinion..Cruised on MSC at least 15 times. Great cruise line.. You will enjoy either trip you choose.

  4. Great cruise line, great staff on board, always enjoyed my 15 MSC cruises, Why do you have such a terrible website.. and the absolutely worst customer service agents. In all these years I've only talked to 2 that knew anything. Most don't even know which side is port or starboard., They NEVER have correct answers, can't help except to take credit card payment for something. Really, fix these 2 serious issues and you would "sail" to number one in the industry.

  5. Months ago I purchased tickets for each show for my grandson and  myself. At the time the agent had no idea how to set the time,  said try the reception ,but was able to get a different night for each show,.  Just got my e-tickets today ,  both shows are on the same day now.. Does anyone know where I go upon embarkation to set the time and date. i assumed it would be the shore excursion, but I'm sure someones knows.. Thanks in advance.

  6. Thank-you for the information!. Emails didn't get a response, about these tickets, so I called. The first customer service rep, checked with a supervisor, who said"if they say sold out then they are", second phone call pretty much the same. 3 times the charm! Finally got a smart rep, spent 3 minutes, found tickets and said, there are many, many tickets available.  I was able to purchase tickets for both shows, and just have to confirm the time, when I board the ship. Hopefully that part works.

  8. On one of the many MSC cancelled cruises I was able to purchase  Cirque de Soleil show tickets in advance. The booking agent at MSC said yes  They're still on the ship, however I can't find any info about the shows or tickets. On another information page was told on the January 16th cruise there was no Cirque Du Soleil and didn't think they did these shows anymore. Anyone on a recent Meraviglia cruise have the correct answer?

  9. Well it's 67 days, today since cancellation, of my 3/29/20 cruise. I was hopeful last week as I received credit from all my          pre-paids. Still nothing else. Spoke to CC company yesterday, and was told I would probably get the refund quicker if I waited for the cruise line to pay VS doing a charge back through the bank, but they have extended the time frame for a charge back in case I wanted to do one in the future. I will wait until 5/29 as that will be 60 days from cruise date. I have a copy of all emails from MSC and each one stated "WITHIN" 60 days.  Rationally I know they have to pay back money eventually  to customers or they would be in trouble, but this is still causing all of us so much stress. When all that was needed was honesty from the beginning  as too how long it will actually take for refunds, instead of all these agents telling so many different "stories:   I'm hopeful though as people on the 3/22 cruise are starting to get paid back! Maybe soon for us too!

  10. On April 16th , One of my many phone calls to MSC, I was told they were currently closing out the end of the 2nd week of March, canceled cruises.( about 30 days behind, basically). One of the agents explained the entire process of closing out a ship's balance sheet, to make sure all refunds and credits balance out-- it is quite an undertaking, considering the amount  of passengers and the amount of ships around the world. At which point I asked then why was 1 of my prepaid's refunded almost instantly( the other's are still pending)?? Every time I speak to an agent, the story is different, about the refund dates and processes . I am at the point of just re-booking a future cruise and transferring my balance to it. It's not that I don't want to cruise MSC again I loved all my previous cruises with them, I just don't want to go through this again, if the trip has to be canceled again. I'm sure all the other lines I travel with are going through the same issues. Just don't know what to do.

  11. I have contacted MSC again, several times. I still have not received refund of any "Pre-paids"  Or of course the cruise itself. I was told on April 16th and April 29th " a refund of the taxes and port charges has been processed back to your credit card on April 15th.. Of course nothing as of today. I called my bank  told it should take no more than 5-7 business days  for "processing". Called MSC again was told their "processing" can take up to  30 days! Come on!, really!. MSC agent had no idea why the rest  of the money was not " processed", got the usual "I am sending an email to that department, they will contact you". NEVER happens!  My Bank told me, if the Cruise line stated a time frame for a refund(60 days) they have that amount of time to refund,  not ethical but legal.May 14 will be 60 days, We'll see what happens. Frankly if the cruise lines were not planning of refunding, they should not have offered it when the cruises were cancelled.  Just wish this could  all be resolved.
