So sorry to hear that...

We were on the same cruise 3 weeks ago and the captain cancelled santorini as he felt that winds were not favorable for a tender operation (hopefully they realized it early, just after leaving Piraeus so we headed To Corfu instead, still a major disappointment for all of us)

8kts winds should be no problem for any type of cruise ship (let alone a 110.000 tons one)

Maybe they are afraid of local conditions especially after the incident they had back in May?

Just logged on to cruise personalizer in order to browse available shore excursions and it seems the 20/8 itenarary has changed as follows

Rome

Naples

At sea

Kotor

Corfu

Heraklion

Mykonos

Athens

Although disappointed that we will not see Kusadasi and Istanbul (and not cruise through Dardanelles which is really scenic) Kotor and Corfu are a really good substitution

The weird thing is that if you try to book the same cruise through princess website it will show you still Istanbul and Kusadasi as part of it.:confused:

I hope it is clarified over the next 1-2 days:)
