Thanks...that looks like exactly what happened. On the phone with Celebrity right now.  OBC looks to be back to normal, but the invoice is still showing $5000 extra than we should be paying. *sigh*

Yep it's a classic issue. Definitely why we need to have those invoices! If you don't have invoices showing the correct price have the agent look at the "Service History" and they can get it sorted.

    Best of luck to you!

  2. *sigh* all too common of an issue. If you booked with a travel agent they will have to call in to get your OBC re-added to your reservation. Make sure you have an invoice showing how much OBC you had before you got the message.

If you booked yourself, call Celebrity and ask to speak with Resolutions. Inform them you simply changed your dining time and the OBC fell off, let them know you have an invoice showing you have the correct amount of OBC and that no promotions changed. They have ways to workaround the error and re-add your OBC to make you whole.

  3. Cruisestitch is correct, the porters can help, however there is a workaround

For this type of issue your E-Docs need to be reissued. Call Celebrity and ask them to reissue them for you and it will update your bag tags. Usually it takes 24 hours to update but I've had luck with them showing the right room within an hour.

  4. Yep, you sure do! This is because those are category amenities, not promotions. This is similar to if someone in a veranda were to upgrade to Aquaclass via MoveUp; they would get complimentary access to the thermal suites.

Same rule applies when upgrading to the higher-echelon suites.

  5. Yes, you still have a shot. Here's why:

As the sailing date approaches there is a team down in Miami that "reserves," for lack of a better word, staterooms. These reserved rooms are filled in a variety of ways (special guests, Casino offers, and MoveUp) and they are hidden from the general public.

Another reason could be that certain travel agencies like are holding space yet to be filled. As the sail date approaches this unsold space is released but may or may not appear for the general public.

If you're interested in a higher category stateroom you should submit your bid, the worst that can happen is they say no and you have some extra money to enjoy on your vacay!

    Cheers 🙂

Looks like the reservation link did work on the website.  Can't verify the MDR has us seated together.  I guess we'll find that out onboard.

If you've linked the other bookings to your own you will also be seated together in the MDR. You can also verify with the head waiter on day 1 once your get onboard.

  7. Yes, you can use it for Le Grand Bistro for lunch however, with every dining package, the reservations will need to be made onboard. Best thing to do is speak with the head waiter after you do your muster drill on day 1.

There will be plenty of space because Celebrity only shows a limited amount of dining inventory pre-cruise. About 50% of the remaining seats for specialty dining are filled onboard.
