When we were on the Enchantment late February early March, the Head Waiter told our table we could now order Grilled Chicken and Royal was discussing bringing back Salmon also. So I ordered the Grilled Chicken but got Chicken Masella! 😱 It was quite tasty but not what I ordered.

We are on the Enchantment now and last night’s menu had nothing that I wanted. I asked for either grilled chicken or salmon and was denied the request. They would not budge! The beef has been awful in the dining room and not up to par in Chops! It is really disappointing. I think the staffs hands are tied but it really makes no sense. Ou meals were no quicker than ever before.

We are fine with the 1 day cruise charge returned to us. I would imagine there are lots on here that the 2 ports were the highlight of their cruise. But Royal had no choice but to cancel them as it would have made our trip North beginning Tuesday night very rough.
The seas are still rough and it’s very windy on the outside decks. So I imagine lots are spending that extra money back in the casino and shops!
🤣.
We should be back in Baltimore Friday morning in time to meet Nicole head on going South home.

We are heading North and the seas have been fairly rough but manageable. Our next stop is scheduled for Baltimore but we haven’t been told if we will arrive early. I think we possibly may slow down after we get out of the rough seas but have not seen or heard any announcements.
we are receiving OBC for 1night of our cruise fare. I haven’t seen anything about refunding Port Charges.

We are on the Nov 3 sailing out of Baltimore. We stopped at Charleston and then yesterday at Port Canaveral. We left there around 7:00 heading to Nassau. Sometime during dinner there was an announcement we would miss Nassau and Coco Cay and head back to Baltimore. So we will not be stopping at a foreign port. I imagine this has all been worked out with the Government officials!😀

Thanks Carol! We are saving around $750 total on two cruises in February!😀

Thanks for the heads up BND! We just went to the Bermuda site and even though it says things have changed, the forms are still the same! I guess they really weren’t ready for the change over the weekend! We sail in less than 2 weeks so we will keep checking it daily.

Great. Thanks!

I am looking to book a hump cabin on the Mariner. This would most likely be deck 7 or 8. Should I be concerned with the noise from the elevators and stairs? Thanks for any advice.

From what I have read, you will not be able to board the ship without authorization from Bermuda. So then getting off the ship should not be a problem.

When in an ocean view, we have the room attendant separate the beds. This makes the room feel so much bigger.

We were recently on the Enchantment and that door to the triangular closet would swing open and shut! I finally got my duct tape out and placed a small strip on it. Mission Accomplished!

I know some sailings do not offer any Royal Up bids. I am sailing February 17 and would like to see if any are being offered for that cruise. Is there a way to find that out? Thanks for any help.

If you are talking about Discovery Plus channel, we are getting a year’s subscription free from Verizon Wireless. Check with them. Last year we had Disney Plus free. And this is good on all the devices under your one account.
I hope this helps some of you.

I know this is not a medical forum, but has anyone heard if someone has had the dreaded virus that it will be recommended they receive the vaccine?

Next booked cruise was 22 nights in Oct/Nov on the Grandeur. We cancelled those 2. So our next booked is 3 weeks in Feb on the Vision but we will most likely cancel those.
Next cruise booked that I think will be a go is Allure, Sept 2021 for 3 weeks. Now the question will be, will they allow B2B?
Disappointment but not devastation since we are older cruisers. We mainly cruise to get away for a while and to meet up with cruise friends we have made.

Esahuma - are you sure Grandeur is cancelled through Oct 31? We have an 11 night Oct 29 and I don’t think it was cancelled. I wish it was cancelled so I could get my money back in 6 months!🤣

John - that sweater mistake did look good. There is a humorist Jeanne Robertson from N.C. that has a story about her black pashmina. She ran back to her room to get it and flung it over her shoulders. Found out later she had pulled out her black slacks instead! It’s not that funny written but so funny to watch on YouTube!
i am so enjoying this thread. Thanks for sharing.

I just got off the phone with my travel agent. I am cancelling my Non Refundable Sept cruises. I put $500 down for each and it is before final payment is due. So Royal takes $200 for each which I was expecting. She stated the other $300 for each cruise will be in the form of Future Cruise Credits. I thought I would get that money back. Is she correct?

I believe my daughter and I did that. I think we got off in Playa del Carmen to go to the Ruins. Boarded busses for the trip there. We were there in August and it was blazing hot. We did take a dip in the ocean to cool off. Boarded buses back, then took a ferry to Cozumel Great memories.

Wandering on the Wonder--A Semi-Live (Maybe) Review
in Royal Caribbean International

Breakfast was free on the Wonder. They did have a very small section on the breakfast menu that would cost extra. I don’t remember which items or how much though. 😊
