I don't think so, no. I do see your point though, so maybe they are and definitely do not want drama. Having smoked for 25 years and thankfully quitting over 10 years ago, I chose my words to describe the feelings of the choices I made and their results. I did not use my words to put others down or express thoughts of their choices and ethics.

To me it seems some tend to be a bit dramatic, using words like 'disgraceful,' 'insulted,' and 'caged animals.' Personally, I find smoking stupid, disgusting, and foul, but if smokers are following the rules, it is not for me to impose my beliefs on them.

The first part of the sentence you quoted might answer your question. " And I’m guessing they’re not 1-way glass, so I will have to be careful waking up looking into a ship docked in front of us".. I am thinking maybe privacy.

Kvæfjordkake (verdens beste kake) is a very good cake. I prefer Bløtkake, a basic cream cake that's especially delicious with fresh Norwegian strawberries. I sailed in Alaska a few years ago, and after exploring some Norwegian fjords, I believe Norway wins for its spectacular views. The landscape is amazing, and I haven't even been to Geirangerfjorden yet. However, the wildlife in Alaska is much better than in Norway. Thanks for the report and pictures.
