We canceled on 1/17/22 and still waiting, our travel agent called last week and again today and was told the resolution dept would call the TA back within 24-hours...

We have been on Princess multiple times and have enjoyed the experience, we are on our first Celebrity Cruise next week on Apex and looking forward to a new ship & experience.
I believe the average age on Celebrity is an older 40+ crowd? Which is fine with us...

So Apex is showing Grand Cayman as a port on 3/10. Anyone know/guess what Apex will do?
Looking at Apex February itineraries Costa Maya has replaced Grand Cayman and Nassau is now the first port.
Cruise Time Tables for March show the same port changes, Grand Cayman was listed as the last port for the 3/5 itinerary last week but now shows Costa Maya as the port... YMMV

I am considering making my March sailing on the Summit a B2B. The second leg is still scheduled to stop in Key West. I was booked on a Summit sailing in November that was scheduled for Key West and it got changed to Bimini. I know some Celebrity sailings have ported in Key West recently (thus the bad press over the Apex), but are all of the scheduled ships making it there now or are some still being changed to Bimini?
March 10th on Summit is showing docking at KW-

I've logged into my account online and I'm also Elite. But I look under "DRINKS" and don't see an option to upgrade from Classic to Premium....
Can this upgrade be done online line or do I need to call Celebrity? Thank you!

If you move the reservation you pay the current fare offer sailing you are moving to.
Price protection is not being offered.
Thank you!

This is exactly what I did last week with my Anthem 1/31 sailing. I was able to move what I paid towards another and they waived the change fee. It is not a lift and shift by any means.
So it was a FFC applied towards your new reservation? Was the date you moved to the same price or did you have to pay the difference? Thank you

I read it all the way through and do not see how you got lift and shift from it. I havent seen anyone allowed a lift and shift recently.
It does say you can reschedule... does not say price protected. You reschedule at prevailing price.
Maybe you could point out where you see a reference to lift and shift?
My question was: does this imply a Lift & Shift?
I never stated it did say that, read the last paragraph, I was asking how other members interrupted....

I didn't see where anyone posted this already, so reading this, does this imply a Lift & Shift?
Dear Guest,
With the increase in COVID-19 cases due to the Omicron variant, our public health guidance continues to evolve, and we want to let you know what to expect as we prepare to welcome you onboard.
All of our crew members are fully vaccinated, receive booster shots when eligible, and all are tested frequently following current CDC guidelines. All your fellow guests 12 and older are fully vaccinated and tested before boarding. And the small number of children sailing who are 11 and under get a second test at the terminal and are increasingly vaccinated. Typically, your onboard cruise community vaccination rate is in the 95% range.
As a result of Omicron, which we have seen is much more transmissible with much milder symptoms for those fully vaccinated, we have further strengthened onboard health protocols, such as the requirement to wear a mask indoors at all times unless eating or drinking, and temporarily not allowing smoking in the casino.
Even with such a high onboard community vaccination rate and enhanced protocols in place, there is a possibility of positive cases arising during your sailing, just as there is an inherent risk of COVID-19 anywhere people congregate or gather. Our protocols anticipate this possibility and we implement them as needed to protect the health and safety of everyone.
Our commitment is guest and crew safety. If someone tests positive, we’ll move them to a location closer to our medical facility to receive care and begin their isolation. Our Medical team and Guest Services will have regular contact with them and will provide options on how to complete isolation once shoreside, as well as information about your safe travel home. Additionally, guests will receive a prorated refund of cruise fare for any days missed while recovering onboard. For more details about this process, please review our dedicated FAQ here.
We also work with local governments in all the ports of your itinerary, who are informed of the ship’s public health status before arrival and together, we decide if we can debark in their country. When we make these decisions, we consider the number of COVID positive cases onboard, and also the number of cases in the destination community along with factors such as the community vaccination status. Should we need to cancel a port of call, we will always do our best to find an alternate destination as a priority or work through a resolution for our new sea day.
You should also note that some onboard activities, such as ice skating, rock climbing, laser tag, production shows, Adventure Ocean, etc., could be impacted during your sailing as we adjust our plans to ensure that the health of both our guests and crew remain our priority.
For our full protocols, please click here. As always, health and safety protocols are subject to change. If you have questions about these protocols, please reference our FAQs for details.
For sailings departing through January 31st, 2022, if you prefer not to sail as a result of this information or would like to reschedule your cruise, please reach out to your travel partner or contact us directly at 1 (866) 562-7625 if you’re in the U.S., or at 954-628-9290 for our international guests. To avoid waiting on the phone to cancel click here, and we will get the process started for you.
Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to seeing you onboard soon!
Sincerely,

We are scheduled to be on Allure 1/22 and will be canceling.
Not afraid of COVID, we just don't feel cruise lines are providing what we paid for at this time, due to canceled shows, itinerary changes, canceled ports and the risk of being quarantined.
We look forward to cruising in the future.

We cancelled and moved our Celebrity 1/24/22 cruise to 12/12/22. Same cruise, just a different date for us. Now if Celebrity would just get out cruise fare straight. One time zero, next time we owe $352, next time they owe us $330, latest go is we owe them $330. Duh !!!! It should be 0.
It sounds like you canceled and re-booked? That's why there is a price difference. vs Lift and Shift that allows you re-booking while protecting your original fare price.

Still debating 1/22 on Allure... Closely monitoring if ports continue to be canceled we will most likely cancel.

The rooms are fine. I was just in one two weeks ago. The carpet was removed to make it easier to sanitize the rooms, but the vinyl flooring is just fine. There’s even a kettle and tea in there for you, something they don’t have in the regular cabins.
I would want the unlimited drink package vs tea.... 😂
