I haven't been on the Sun, but will be in January. I have been on most of the other Princess ships.
Showtimes are generally at 7:30 and 9:30 on Princess and are 45-minutes long. I usually go to the early show and dine at 8:30.
Good point. I always stopped by Vines and ordered a double, promising to bring the larger glass they use back after dinner (which I always did). If no Vines on the ship, I'd find a bar that does have them, e.g., the Crown Grill bar.
"There are three of us traveling. They already boarded. I got stuck carrying the Diet Coke."
One 12-pack each. Simple. Security doesn't really care.
Why someone would do it is a personal matter for them. Why does it amaze you? Why do you care at all?
All irrelevant now, at least for me, with the advent of the drink packages. But others may still want to do so, hence the question that was presented.
Right after the Covid ban on cruising ended, I did three back-to-backs on the Majestic out of Los Angeles. Brought a Costco 35-can pack of Diet Coke on board. No one cared.
In the past year, I've been on the Discovery, Emerald and Sky on Royal Class ships. Hadn't seen that change so must be rather new.
Not a change I am in favor of. The atrium is just too noisy.
