Many people have no clue some of the kitchens serve the exact same food at 2-3 restaurants

I’m not a novice cruiser so I know they use the same kitchens but honestly there is a difference when we get it from pacific vs the other one. It’s my personal opinion so 🤷🏽‍♀️

I know you never got to Tortola and San Juan on this cruise and that you went to Nassau yesterday instead, but did you get to Great Stirrup Cay today too?

Also - has there been any more info on the mechanical issue that caused the delay for this cruise.  Has it been fixed or just fixed well enough for this shorter cruise with a modified itinerary?

Yes we were able to be in Stirrip cay today, out of the original itinerary of a 7 day cruise this was the only original port where we had no problems. I have no idea if the problems are fixed going ahead but we seem to be moving at a good pace. Hope that helps

we were on the 7 day turned to 8 day cruise before you and really enjoyed our dinner at Le Bistro.

We thought Grand Pacific was way better than Alizar as far as the free restaurants. Alizar had very slow service.

Yes to grand pacific being the preferred free restaurant we went to Aliza last night and it was only ok. We will be back at the pacific tonight 😁

Damn that sucks. Sorry to hear. No more reported problems with the engines though? Seems like the ship is moving at a decent pace.

Thanks. The ship is moving fine but getting to Nassau at a decent hour is like racing to a red light. No one wanted to go to Nassau, it wasn’t on the original itinerary and we would of rather gotten to DR on time and been late for Nassau

So, it's a cruise to Amber Cove and Great Stirrup Cay? Oh, what fun. Doesn't sound like much compensation for something that's Norwegian's fault.

We actually went to Taino bay, which was better then amber cove but only had a few hours there. Agree, it’s not enough compensation at all

  6. UPDATE from a cruiser on the 7 turned 6 day cruise with only 2 port locations (D.R. And Bahamas)

For our port stop in Puerto Plata we are now due to get to the port at 3pm. Several excursions have been straight up cancelled. Our is fully cancelled and it’s disappointing. The ship is saying that because of this we will stay there later 3:30 to 10pm but I don’t want to be out super late , how is that ok. And I know they will have shops and stuff that actually close at a decent time. This late time is now due to a strong current and unfavorable winds . In other news the food onboard is great , we ate at Le Bistro the french restaurant wish I could eat there every night !!
