  1. Thank you! @ATSEAMYLIFE
  2. I know this is an old thread but have a follow up question and the ATT help desk was not able to clarify sufficiently. I also have an ATT unlimited elite plan (my wife has ATT unlimited Extra). We live in the US and are taking a Carnival cruise with stops in Cozumel and Progreso, Yucatán. We plan to keep our phones on airplane mode while at sea. From what I've gathered I won't be charged roaming if I make calls, text, or use data while in port but how does the calling work? Is it long distance to call from my (us based) phone while in Mexico to someone still in the US? Can my wife go shopping with her friends (in Cozumel) and call my phone (also in Cozumel). Is this long distance and would both phones pay a long distance per minute fee? Or can I use my phones just as I would in the states and not incur further charges? If there is a fee should my wife and I add the 30 day ATT international call package? Thanks in advance.
