  1. Sunny AZ Girl - I keep a list in a notebook of all the magnets & ornaments I've bought on our cruises. They include the ship & ports. I just looked at my list of ornaments, & I don't have any of the Princess ships. For some reason, I thought I did.

When we went on our 1st cruise on RCI, I did buy a magnet of the ship which has a picture of the ship on it. I have always collected magnets of anywhere we have gone on any vacation. I have more than I know what to do with. I do have 3 large magnetic boards that are full. I keep the one with my cruise magnets in my computer room so I can look at them. We put the ones of each cruise ship on our fridge in the order that we went on the cruise. We both love to look at them.

I know some like the Princess magnets with the gold ship on it. I wish they also had one with a picture of the ship which I prefer.

For some reason on our 2 Liberty of the Seas cruises, they didn't have any magnets of the ship. We did get larger magnets when we went to the Meet & Mingle so I use those.

Even if we've been on a ship before, I will buy another magnet of the ship.

Can you tell I've very obsessed with my ship magnets!!

  2. Great question! We love Curacao & Aruba so we try to go there every couple years. Never been to Bonaire. Pretty sure the Emerald Princess goes to Aruba & Bonaire which we'd like to go on sometime. We're going on the Brilliance of the Seas again to the Panama Canal (11 days which includes Curacao & Aruba).

  3. We just got back from our Caribbean Princess cruise yesterday. We had cabin R632 on the Riveria Deck. We didn't have a suite. Our cabin was located right near the elevators & right under the Buffet. Excellent location! We did hear noise once in a while, but it wasn't enough to bother us. We would hear it at night, but not when we were sleeping. We would also hear it in the morning. I think the noises we heard were the furniture being moved. I wouldn't hesitate to get another cabin there. Can't beat being 1 deck below the buffet & being near the stairs & elevator.

  4. Glad I found this topic. I, too, keep a journal of each cruise we go on. I would never remember everything if I didn't. We do read them again & enjoy reading them. It's also a good reference for future cruises or if someone asks a question. I use a 7.75" x 5" book with 80 pages. It's not a fancy one, but it's easy to pack. Over the years, I've added more information in it. I also write what we ate, the weather, time we got up & went to bed, & anything else that went on each day. At the back of the journal, I put down how much money we took. When we get home, I put down how much we spent. It helps for the next time we go. I also put down our casino money for each of us & whether we won or lost & how much. I also have other categories at the back. It's amazing how much more information I've added over the years.

Whenever we go back to our cabin & I have time, I will write in my journal.

I just finished getting mine ready for our next cruise. I also take a small notebook for my purse which has the phone #'s I need from home. I will write in it on the plane & transfer it into my journal.

Nice to know so many others also keep a journal.

  5. We had a short conversation with a couple last night that went on their 1st & only cruise on the Dolphin cruiseline. We had never heard of it before. They said they liked the cruise, but they got tired of always having to change their clothes for breakfast, lunch, & dinner before going to eat in the Dining Room. Did the cruiseline have buffets? I don't know which ship they were on.
