  1. @2BACRUISER its so stupid because we know what restaurants they have, its not like anything has changed! I got an email today saying that "there have been numerous updates on the control planner and launches causing delays for excursions, dining and spa treatments being released." and that everyone was in the same boat and I'll have to keep checking like everyone else, or wait until I'm on board (sounds like a fun start to a holiday). I pointed out I got told about these issues in May, so why aren't they sorted by now? That's thousands of people all in the same boat trying to give them extra money and not being able to!
  2. @gramwold when I first rang up I was told they would all be available two weeks before, then when I contacted the chat they said two months, but was told as I booked in store that a travel agent could let me know when they were available, went in store and they told me to keep checking the website and it could be another two weeks! Some clarity might be helpful haha I just want to give them money.
  3. @lionstc thanks! I saw a horror story where immigration took so long that people missed the port completely!
  4. Going by the website it says 6 months before BUT they are having "issues" with the system or something (got told in May, they haven't figured it out yet). I'm going end of November, and got told (on second time of asking) that they would start being available two months before, but only a few have been trickling onto the site and i'm getting annoyed tbh! You can't book an excursion when you can't see all the options! And the dining is not available at all, even though the link works. I've emailed them today as this is not the normal service from them, hopefully it will get fixed before you try to book anything! But from past experience the excursions and the dining were really good! (solo travelled to greece, nice coaches and tours, and they didn't cram the coaches so I didn't have to sit next to a stranger)

I'm thinking about this but always like the security of a cruise line excursion, and I've read about a few of the US ports we are going to taking a long time for immigration to get off the ship, so was wanting to book a Marella excursion for those ports with multiple other big ships in, as the excursions would be first off the ship!
  6. Anyone else had issues booking excursions this year? I am going to the Carribean in November, and was told when I originally enquired (around May) that Marella were having issues with excursions this year. I have checked twice about when excursions for my cruise would be available to book, and was told originally on the phone that they would be available two weeks before the cruise, which from previous booking experience I thought was really late! I checked again via the online chat, and was told today (25th September), and checked the site yesterday and two excursions for the same port had randomly appeared. Today only those two excursions are on the site, so I asked again via the online chat and was told they are still having issues loading the excursions onto the site, and it could be a couple of weeks but to check daily, or get the in store team to notify me? I probably sound quite stressy haha but I booked this particular itinerary as it has very specific ports I want to go to, and specific excursions that are limited capacity. Also some of the ports don't even have excursion info on the main site at all!
