We are disappointed that NCL is not doing their Florida/Bahamas round trip NY…..specifically in October…..we are senior citizens and have been on this cruise about five times…..it is so enjoyable. We don’t want to sit on a ship docked in Bermuda for two or three days.
I have been researching both MSC and Royal who do both have our preferred itinerary.
Of course, we prefer if NCL had what we wanted but so be it……

That’s what I’ve been noticing…,that was our favorite itinerary round trip NYC in October…..I guess we’ll have to give MSC a try.

NCL might change it. But I wouldn't count on it!
We are booked for an April 3, 2022 cruise….I just went on the website and see that our final payment due date has been changed from December 2, 2021 to February 2, 2022……so… check your account!
PS we were never notified of this change by NCL.

Is Norwegian extending final payment due dates?
I know someone booked on a cruise for February 2022. The original date for final payment due was October 2021 when they booked.
The due date passed without them ever making final payment.
She went online today on her account and the date for final payment due is now December 2021.

Are there any solo cabins in Haven?
Can they book a Haven cabin if they are solo…… how does the pricing work?
-
Can we still add countdown clocks to our profile?
anyone know how to do this?
TIA

Is Global Entry worth it for cruising....or only for Airlines?
if you have GE can you be checked in through Haven....even if you are not booked in Haven?
asking for a friend....LOL
TIA

Does it mean you can use two for each passenger? Or 2 for cabin?
also, I have two expiring 10/2021 if I book a cruise now for 2022 will NCL honor them?
TIA

NCL might survive if they drop their final payment date to 30 days. No way will they survive with the amount of cancellations that will continue into next year due to the ridiculous 4 month mandatory final payment date. Even as bad as people will want to go or even plan to go that ridiculous policy will scare 90% of cruisers away. Nobody in their right mind would hand over thousands that far in advance anymore.
Yeah that final payment 120 days is a real bummer.....we cancelled our October 2020 prior to the final payment date because we were afraid NCL wouldn’t make it and we had over $2000 already invested and we’re afraid to give them an additional $1900+. We were lucky and received our refund quickly. I hope cruising returns safely and quickly.

My guess is end of July ....... since it looks like all October cruises are coming up as SOLD OUT!
We cancelled our October 13 cruise before final payment was due......Luckily received our refund.

I am in the FB group NCL - The Real Friendly Page and saw it there.

Speaking of schedules, there was an NCLH "relaunch schedule" (including ship names & dates of NCL, Oceania & Regent ships) posted on a FB group about an hour ago. (It was a screenshot of an Excel file that was supposedly shared via email with some Breakaway crew.) I won't share it here since I don't want to spread an entire list of unsubstantiated rumors (and if it is valid I'm sure it wasn't meant for public release!) but I will say that the earliest relaunch of an NCL ship was last week of September. There was 1 ship in September, 4 in October, 4 in November, 4 in December, 2 in January, and 2 in February (if I counted correctly!)
The file is out there on the interwebs if folks want to see it. I cannot link the FB group but the group topic is focused on cruises out of NYC.
PS Edited to add that I see the list is now also being cross-posted to some NCL FB groups.

Cancelled our October cruise on May 5 before final payment. Today I notice two credits from NCL on our Amex account one for $400 and one for $210....are they doing the refunds little by little and not a lump sum?
We should be getting a total of $1810 refunded.
Has anyone else had their refund done in this way?

I think October/November 2020 maybe realistic in Europe(if they find some sort of medicine), but in the US it might be a bit too early.
I`m booked on a November cruise from NYC on the breakaway and at the moment i don`t think it will take place.
We have an October 2020 booked from NYC. Final payment is due June 15. I think we will make a decision to cancel on May 1. I doubt NCL will cancel before final payment is due. I believe they will want to get all the $ they can.
whats your gut feeling about this?

They arrived back to NY this morning....my DIL said it was rough sailing coming back barf bags all over people getting seasick (including my youngest grandson.
but she said they had an absolutely awesome time.

My son and his family are on that cruise also with a large group.......we were wondering if the weather was going to be rough since there was a storm in the Carolinas that brought some snow there and was apparently heading out to sea......safe cruising!

Hey all. Trip has been great so far. On time at each port and weather allowed us to get to GSC. Today the waves are rough so the bags are out in the Stairwells.
I’m not platinum yet, so no idea.
They are not doing anything in the buffet for corona. I was surprised after reading about it on these boards. One of the officers told me that it was just for the first week, back to normal now.
As far as the arcade package, my 12 year old son said it’s not worth it. Most games are not included. We did notice that the bowing was also not part of the package. On the epic last year, they had pool and darts, but not on the bliss. Seems like it’s not worth a couple hundred bucks in our opinions.

I’m just wondering if NCLs GSC is accessible to people using scooters or wheelchairs.
i am aware that NCL tenders in this port.

Morning....my son and his family booked on February cruise. Bringing their niece as a birthday gift. She is 16 years old. What document does NCL require for her to cruise without her parents?
TIA

I went to make a payment online for our October 2020 cruise and I notice there is a Cruise Reward in the amount of $200 valid until March 2020.....what the heck is that.....I’ve never seen that before.
TIA
Still No NCL October Fl-Bahamas round trip NY?

We have sailed this itinerary a few times. It’s just perfect for us. We don’t want to have to fly.
We prefer NCL, but I guess we’ll just have to go with MSC or RCCL because they have this itinerary.
im giving it a few more months before I make a decision.
