Aaaannnddddd, time to start researching Grenada... I was only going to get the social internet plan but I think I may get the Value plan so that I can have access to email. I have private excursions booked on every island and all of the operators have been great at allowing changes as long as I let them know.
Tell me more about the "private" exclusions"? How do you book those? Thanks!

I wish we could get the Grand Suite with Extended Balcony! We decided to stay in the regular balcony suite with the better view rather than switch to the Grand Suite with the blocked view. Thanks for all the info!

Yes, in looking at google images, I would say it does. However, when I am on a balcony, I mostly look down and out to the horizon. This does seem to impede looking forward... seems to be quite a bummer
Thanks for the info!

That's what I'm thinking as well. Was hoping someone on here has some experience with these rooms. Thanks for the replies!

Because the extended Grand Suite Balcony sticks out past the Regular Grand Suite Balcony. It appears to have a wall next to our balcony that would block us from being able to look out forward toward the front. Also this "wall" appears to be angled somewhat. ???

Hi! We are booked on U104 on Carnival Fascination. This is a Grand Suite, but I noticed it is right next to the Grand Suites with the extended Balcony. Has anyone stayed in this room? Will the view be blocked? Any thoughts? Thanks a ton in advance!
Carnival Triumph (soon to be Sunrise) Ocean Suite

We just sailed on the Triumph during New Years, we had room 7272, an Ocean Suite. It was great! It was much larger than a standard balcony room, had a sitting area with vanity so my wife could get ready while I was in the shower or bathroom area. Also had a couch and chair with a table that was nice. The balcony was larger and had 2 chairs. We stayed in a Grand Suite before this trip, but found that the Ocean Suite was perfect this time. The room location was excellent - close to everything. We much prefer the extra room, and being among the first to board by getting a suite.
